The randomizers are seriously one of the best things to happen to Resident Evil. It’s genuinely bringing people together, and has people playing the older games again. Win win situation!

OK I have no idea how and why because I am not a speedrun nor did I ever attempted to do so XD but this man is sooo enjoyable from the commentaries alone to watch! Also interesting cause I'm a casual and enjoy this content xD Great stuff indeed and definitely needs more eyes on it!!!

I think the knight room is cursed for randomizer runs bc the hotbox mechanic, I bet the hotbox for the knight it much taller and less wide than regular enemies, so that touch of a wider hit box for the zealots and villagers, and the much longer hit box the dogs get, allow them to clip through the wall and b line it to the player

Also, I've known of the Regenarator strat for so long, I always called it the "Ass s/wiper" strat :P
LOL the rocket launcher was over 2X as expensive as normal, but still not as expensive as the remake's stingy rocket launcher lol!
When he used the rocket launcher on that boulder I knew you would get the clear lead but not using a rocket launcher on Slazar was a big mistake
This kinda mode should be added in game on the resi 4 remake
you can actually get through the knights room with literally 1 incendiary ive done it before

I get confused with the non-linearity of the edit sometimes
If I could make any connection from an anime to this speed run, it would be that Dante is the Sakura of these 3, Waifu is Gaara, and Muty is Orochimaru toppling the rest
So the guy is a re god, but still didn’t memorize where the parasites are in the regenerators? Back when I did speedruns on the game I memorized where they were, so I didn’t use the scope anymore

Makes your guns real quiet-like. For real though, I *believe* you put it on the basic Handgun and it buffs the critical hit chance; meaning you can pop heads in a single shot sometimes.

How long has this been a thing? I love RE4 but it’s gotten stale over the years to me ( thousands of hours, hundreds of runs) and I had no idea randomizers existed for this game!

No. The village is 14
40 is cabin
If it WAS 40 enemies in the village, then it'd probably be completely impossible, or next to impossible to end the holdout early on NG, since all you have at the start is the basic handgun, the shotgun, and some grenades.
