As someone who is new to everything related to server management it would be nice to have some explanations to why you choose to do some of the stuff you show in this video

I am interested also all the securing proxmox related things. Like why root access with SSH? Why not keys?

Hello, thanks for the video. I followed your instructions and ended up with a black screen "Guest host haas not initialized the screen (yet)" when installing VM. Did i miss something? I am running Proxmox on Macbook M2.

Are you installing proxmox bare bones or in a vm

You can do all that in the UI. Is there a reason you are using CLI?

Typing or copying commands through the command-line interface (CLI) is quicker for me compared to navigating through multiple steps to achieve the same result. I've become accustomed to using the CLI, and it's not as challenging as it may seem once you get the hang of it.

@@Ramblingtech likewise, I prefer cli but for anyone 1st getting into it, it can seem a bit daunting

@@LesHuntKu I do agree! When I first started, I was so nervous about using CLI. I didn't for a long time, but once you understand it, it's just easier!

I seem to have the same problem, although I'm not sure what you mean by clearing the cache. I'm a total noob at this stuff.
