I thought maybe they use twine to tie together tobacco bundles maybe. It does make for a mystery what you'll find when you pop that tin open. I got my boat stored for the winter yesterday. I have found some strange things lurking in flake tobacco from a lot of manufacturers. One reason I don't fold and stuff. I like to check em out good. Mostly for curiosity. Furley flake #3! Not sure what that furry stuff was, could be plant material. I used to fear the perique, but thanks to you and a few others I gradually got into it, and now I just can't get enough. I definitely need to pick up a few of the Burley Flakes to try! Thank you for the videos!
Perhaps you got a mis labeled briar fox or junkyard dog blends? Great review as always i loved 1&3 did not care much for the others. C&d do burly justice i have to say. I seen vegas show clips seem to be a good turn out, i hope vegas will be too. Have a great weekend brother

@@beans316 well the one with latakia was my least favorite. 2 is burley based so it lacks that perique touch but it was bold very earthy, 5 was their interprtation of edgeworth i think, it have orientals but no latakia, i liked it for the taste smooth sweet tangy but it lacks in strength department which made 1&3 win for me
I’ve had stuff that looks like that white paper shavings on the top of C&D flakes before.. I wish I could smoke stronger blends because I like the flavor of some of them.. Oh well there’s plenty of other blends out there.. Yes please don’t cancel Boswells!!
No I usually never bring anything to sell , just bring whatever you may want to heck you don’t have to bring anything at all there will be plenty there haha

Careful with the tarp it can trap moisture between it and your good boat cover and actually cause rot and mildew.
I’ll keep a close eye on that hopefully it helps

I started checking the tobacco before smoking because I recently found a chunk of rubber in a cake-flake. It wasn't from C&D but seems to be common.
Wow really that’s crazy over the years I have found mold , human hair etc etc this looked like fur from a animal but was probably part of the leaf
