No matter were you come from this judge is the best ,humble ,humane, educator ,adviser ,always leaning more toward the situation of the defendant in front of him wether its financial shortage,or pregnant lady ,or a jobless person,I have noticed that he never add a burden to an existing one ,you cannot be more humane than that ,God bless him

I wish more judges were like the Honorable Judge Frank Caprio. He is an outstanding Judge and a great person all together. He is certainly a good hearted person. He himself makes this show.

Mr. Picky : Really ? at 6:52 the poor lady that got correctly judged innocent on her charge, asks about why her ticket got penalties with her being able to fight it at all , and the judge becomes hostile and THREATENS the poor lady by pulling up old lawyer school stories into submission and forcing her to leave "her court". Is this really HONORABLE ? is this OUTSTANDING judgment ? just a GREAT PERSON ALL TOGETHER huh ?
You Americans , you all rather daft.

I am not a lawyer but did study first year law in a business degree. I had a law professor that said we have a jury to temper the black and white law with the humanity of our peers. I love this judge, he tempers the law with his own humanity. Punishing some of these people who are already doing it tough seems counter productive to society. Judge Caprio almost makes me want to go back and study law. He is a credit to the profession.

I'm English. My perception of the American justice system was that it is overbearing and unsympathetic to circumstances. This judge is dispensing justice rather than punishing everyone to the maximum letter of the law. While he is compassionate the judge is clearly respectful of the law and his a city. He is doing what he thinks will bring the best for everyone in the long run. Great guy.

Jessica Elliot-An attitude like yours is a cancer on humanity. It's dangerously judgemental and without a shred of empathy. Your snap-to-judgement attitude reveals your personal shortcomings and insecurities. This is the USA. Our country welcomes people from anywhere as long as our countries laws are adhered to. But, it would be impossible to know, let alone understand, all of our countries laws and their implications.
Also, thanks to the ridiculously vague laws our courts deal with everyday it is refreshing to have a judge that understands the many circumstances that control momentarily lapses in judgement along with the emotions that instigate knee-jerk decision making.
The USA is comprised of individuals representing incredibly varied ways of life. The world you were brought into is unique to your personal circumstances. Just like mine. We don't all have the same beginning, nor the contributing factors of those who's circumstances are unique to their upbringing. There are many ways people express emotion. So to judge someone based solely upon their actions, without considering their circumstances is more of a statement regarding your opinion of yourself. Preinstalled empathy and it's ability to unite is one of Gods greatest gifts to man. Judge not, lest ye be judged. Everyone should be accepted as an individual without the fear of the dangerous stereotyping that is pre determined by our own ignorance and the damaging results of revealing and acting upon said ignorance. Get over yourself and make your world a better place. But, if your ignorance continues to guide your decisions you might consider running for office.

This judge is extremely nice and anyone he helps should feel extremely grateful and lucky because this woman at 4:53 in the video absolutely 100% did not stop not at all nit even a little bit and the judge even lied on tv for her saying that she come to a stop when she absolutely did not. Seriously if a kid was in front of her car and the only way that kid was going to live is if she come to a stop to not drive over the kid that kid would be run over no questions asked because again she didn't stop. Anyways its one thing to be nice and have compassion and understanding for people and this amazing judge absolutely does but he shouldn't make up a lie for someone just because he feels bad for someone. Anyways how's the judge going to feel one day when she runs over a little kid because she didn't stop but she now thinks she doesn't have to because this judge told her its ok to just say you stopped but you don't actually have to stop iys ok to drive any way you want and only follow the rules of the road you feel like following not good if you ask me not this time judge 😥🤷‍♂️👍✌

Fine for beating red light in us was too little compare to here in SG...we pay sgd200 or almost us150 and on top of that we get 12 demerit points...drivin license will be suspended if we hit 24 demerit points and we do not have nice judge here to dismiss the charge..no chance given at all
