Tired of this topic. How about best qualified gets the damn job. Men prefer to work with things and women with people … no amount of social engineering will undo 250,000 years of evolution over night.

But that's the thing. Some men love working with people. Unless you call me for an interview and give me a chance how would you know? Diversity is not just men/women. As you get older people will just assume you aren't as good with new technologies, not flexible, etc. Will you like to be excluded without being talked to just based on people's assumptions?

As soon as I hear diversity, inclusion, and equity, I tune out. These issues are a description of groups, not an action. Stop hiring unqualified people to fit a checkbox.
