We have never heard about this region and we probably would not have heard it if it had not been for the fact that we went on a weekend trip and got there through an interesting offer of accommodation on Airbnb. It is the smallest and the youngest Italian region - it is inhabited by about 300,000. people, and arose from the disconnection of the "Abruzzia e Molise" region in 1963.
Molise is made up of two provinces: Campobasso and Isernia.
Mollie's landscape is primarily mountains - the Maltese mountain range, but the region also has a coastline on the Adriatic Sea, where Termoli is the main resort and only port.
The highest peak of this region is Monte Miletto, a mountain 2050 m above sea level.
Molise is mainly an agricultural region. More than half of Italian truffles are found in this region, and interestingly, this is where its most valuable species - the white truffle - is found. Its price can reach up to EUR 3,000 per kilogram. You can also find vineyards and olive groves here, often they are family businesses producing high-quality wine and olive oil.
But what to see in this region? The landscape of Molise is green forests, mountains and towns growing out of them. A journey from his town to the next one, through winding streets, roads, green fields ... In every town you can relax, talk to the locals who immediately notice tourists, drink coffee ...
Molise is a region little known even to Italians. Tourism is underdeveloped here, but you can see that the locals enjoy every tourist, want to talk, even invite you to dinner home.

Nie słyszeliśmy nigdy o tym regionie i pewnie nie usłyszelibyśmy gdyby nie to, że wybraliśmy się na weekendową wycieczkę i trafiliśmy tam przez ciekawą propozycję noclegu na Airbnb. To najmniejszy i najmłodszy włoski region - zamieszkuje go około 300 tys. ludzi, a powstał z rozłączenia regionu "Abruzzia e Molise" w 1963.
Na Molise składają się dwie prowincje: Campobasso i Isernia.
Krajobraz Molise to przede wszytskim góry - masyw góski Matese, ale region posiada także linię brzegową nad Adriatykiem, gdzie głównym kurortem i jedynym portem Molise jest Termoli. 🌊🌊
Najwyższym szczytem tego regionu jest Monte Miletto, góra mająca 2050 m. n.p.m.⛰️⛰️
Molise to głównie region rolniczy. W tym regionie znajduje się ponad połowa trufli pochodzących z Włoch.Co ciekawe to tu właśnie występuje jej najcenniejszy gatunek - trufla biała. Jej cena może osiągać nawet 3000 euro za kilogram. Można znaleźć tu też winnice oraz gaje oliwne, często są to rodzinne zakładu produkujące wysokiej jakość wina i oliwy z oliwek.
Ale co zwiedzać w tym regionie? Krajobraz Molise to zielone lasy, góry i wyrastające z nich miasteczka. Podróż z jego miasteczka do następnego, przez kręte uliczki, drogi, zielone pola... W każdym miasteczku można odpocząć, porozmawiać z mieszkańcami, którzy od razu zauważają turystów, napić się kawy...
Molise jest regionem mało znanym nawet wśród Włochów. Turystyka jest tutaj słabo rozwinięta, ale widać, że miejscowi cieszą się z każdego turysty, chcą rozmawiać, nawet zapraszają na obiad do domu.

"Molise nie istnieje" - To zdanie stało się żartem wśród Włochów, a potem hasłem, które miało rozreklamować ten region wśród turystów.
Przebywając w Molise ma się wrażenie, że takie miejsce nie może być prawdziwe. Czuć w tych miasteczkach jakby czas zatrzymał się, albo płynął bardzo wolno. To idealne miejsce na weekend wyjazd, aby odpocząć od pracy i obowiązków. Zwolnić i chłonąć naturę.

Beautiful Molise and its enchanting villages, especially our Trivento! Thank you for posting.....it really captures the beauty and charm of the region. We bought a lovely home in Trivento during the pandemic for when we retire in a few years and for our family. Safe travels! (Can you kindly provide the type of drone you used for your footage? Thanks!).
Back then, I think I was using DJI mini 2. Sufficient for that moment.
The region is wonderful! The peace and quiet there made us fall in love with it! We will definitely visit this place again, and who knows, maybe we will also want to buy a house there.

Esiste! Il Molise esiste.
Esiste ed è una regione poco conosciuta perché forse la politica culturale non ha la capacità di espandere la propria bellezza.
Certo che esiste! Tuttavia per la maggior parte dei turisti, purtroppo o per fortuna, non esiste. Da un lato le bellissime zone non sono affollate di turisti, ma dall'altro il turismo aiuterebbe sicuramente i meravigliosi abitanti locali di questa regione.

Avevamo poco tempo e non siamo riusciti a vedere tutto, ma torneremo sicuramente. Ho inserito il posto nella mia lista dei desideri!
