Dammmmmn boy!!! I just ordered my exhaust today and figured it’s worth the way even though it is on back order. I have a scout bobber 60 can’t wait to get it thank you for the video
Amazing Sound Which exhaust did you install (Rinehart Racing Muffler Slip-On 3" Duals Blk) or (Rinehart Racing Muffler Slip-On 3.5" Duals Blk) and what is the difference between them
My rear bolts for the pipes to the bar don’t fit, they are soo big that u can see air between the nut and bolt. Did you have that issue? The ones where you use to attach the exhaust to the exhaust plate.
Its hard to give it justice on camera since they are loud and cameras and audio sources will tone it down so its not peeking the heck out of the mic. Compared to stock pipes its a HUGE difference I promise.
@@ramilocampo9831 yea I got these specially because of the look. I feel like getting short exhaust on the scout kinda defeats the purpose of getting the bike. The pipes look great and are plenty loud
Hey mate.. , nice video. I want to ask you. I am in a city that loud exhaust illegal . Does this exhaust bring me problems with the police or is it legal ?
If you live in a city where this would be illegal, I would not recommend this exhaust at all. I would look into your citys laws and see what is allowed, I cant tell you if you would have issues or not since im in Texas. These pipes are very loud though
Do you tend to find that you need to use ear plugs with these? I installed Crushers on mine and it is almost too loud. I've gone on rides without ear plugs and my ears are ringing by the end.
That's a tough one to answer since I have not heard the crushers in person. After watching a few UA-cam videos I think the Rinehart might have a deeper pitch so that might be easier to listen to vs a higher pitch but they seem comparable. But regardless helmet or not I'm definitely feeling a bit "ringy" after a long ride. I'm never NOT coming back after an hour and not feeling some type of feeling in the head. The helmet does help a lot though. Obviously the stock exhaust is super soft and quiet but to find something that's just a bit louder but not crusher level might be a challenge. If I were you I would look into modifying the stock exhaust, I know some people modify the internal baffles and are able to get a much better sound without having to buy some loud slip ons.
Exhaust or not, it shouldn't effect starting. Are you turning the bike on and off over and over? Slip ons are not electrical so it shouldn't cause am issue with starting
Ah ok, my dealer recommended to change after warranty ends... After how many years should rider change their pipes? Like what's the average lifespan for exhaust pipes for stocks and aftermarket ones?@@Shanic77
Nah I think it's perfect. I think on the loud scale with stock being a 1, these are a 3.5. I've heard louder. Don't get me wrong though, you're not going to want to fire up your bike at 3am or do anything sneaky haha. You will be heard.
@@Shanic77Do you have any opinions of the Rinehart vs the Freedom 2-1? I’m thinking of switching to Rinehart. Love the Freedom but hate the raspy sound at high speeds
@@DarthRogue777 So I have not heard the freedom in person but by going by youtube videos I think the Rineharts have a deeper tone for sure. More beefy haha. Im exaggerating but the freedoms seem to almost sound like a dirtbike at higher rpm?? For just sound alone I would go with the Rineharts.
@@Shanic77 Yeah, it’s sorta like a dirtbike on steroids at high RPMs which makes it annoying. Thank you! I placed my order and happily waiting for Rineharts.
@@Shanic77 thanks! I’m deciding between this one, V&H Roland Sands.. I also like the sound of freedom combat exhaust but don’t like the style of the exhaust. I don’t think it matches the bike stock. Unless I make it look more like a sports bike.
haha! I feel like the vaince & hines are probobly a touch louder then the Rinehart exhaust. Although with these rineharts I have never ever thought they needed to be louder lol
You have officially woke all the Karen's in your neighborhood lol
Lol!!!
Just installed mine last week and wow I was not expecting it to sound that great in person. Best purchase of 2021 other than the bike itself.
Wahoo!!
That’s fking loud? Or high quality loud? I used to have gp shortys it didn’t like me, my ears hurts

I’ve got rineharts on my 2018 scout and yep. They’re loud.
Love the reinharts

The neighbors love you more now 🤣😂🤣
Ah this sounds sick I'm looking at a bobber right now with this on it.
Mrs Debbie’s sewing machine 🤣
Wow, without the pipes was awesome!!
make more videos. Just ordered one, really hope that its loud enough bec the video looks like it doesnt give it justice

Shanic77 yeah I love the sound of the Vance and Hines but these look so much better. I just hope their close in loudness.
@@ramilocampo9831 yea I got these specially because of the look. I feel like getting short exhaust on the scout kinda defeats the purpose of getting the bike. The pipes look great and are plenty loud
Is it really that much of a difference over stock sound wise kinda sounds the same. At idle
Did you leave the baffles in them? If so they still sound incredibly.
They sound great. I'm turn between these and the Vance and Hines. What side of H town are you in?
Thank you! Tough choice, I just like the longer pipes look lol im in Katy!
@@Shanic77 nice im in Spring

Suenan cabrona, oh yeah those pipes are on the money.
A hammer?
I would have liked to have seen you gone down the street without any mufflers! 🤪
way way better brudder!

My scouts engine seemed to get hotter right after I installed slip ons. Is that normal?
Where did you get yours? They seem impossible to get right now.
Hey man. Did you need a tune for this exhaust?
Yo! Nope no tune. 5k miles later and zero issues. It's my understanding that any slip-ons for this bike will not require a tune.
