Hey guys! I just figured that I'd put this down here as well. The background music for this video is actually composed by me, so go check it out if you want to at soundcloud.com/venndaction/sets/slvsh
Hey I’m also competing in the change up competition. Personally I would recommend using the extra motors for frontal arms/better mouth of the design so you can remove balls that have already been put in a tower. And you may also want to focus a little more on accuracy because the center tower won’t have a backboard (also maybe decrease the power on the conveyor belt). This is just my opinion so if you have a lot of faith in your design definitely go for it (you had pretty great ideas). Nice video by the way.
VEX calls them "attachment links". They aren't sold individually but they do come with the additional high strength chain pack from here: www.vexrobotics.com/hs-sprockets-and-chain.html
hi there! this is SUPER cool! do you have Instructions for this bot? I'm new to robots...so I could definitely use some help, so if you have instructions PLEASE let me know!
what if you extended the front and added a mechanism that would hold the balls, so if it pushed them out, it would still be holding them. We considered a robot like this, but decided against it because by the time we were done with the planning, it was just too complex. Never considered standoffs, though. Also, I think a H-drive with omni-directional wheels is the perfect base, especially if you add gears to make it go faster.
If you want I have a 3d printable version(meaning it's not hollow and you choose infill) of the ball and I think if you are trying to fix the sync issue just run a bit of chain under your tray thing and connect them with sprokets or doing it with prog wouldn't be bad either lemme know if u need any help
This is actually a pretty creative design and would probably be better that a snail bot if he made a few adjustments to the conveyer, unloader, mouth, and use rubber band transformations for pop out mechanics (that increase accuracy).

Great vids, Love the music aswell!
Our vex robotics also got canceled because of covid-19. will blastwave be competing any time soon?
Hopefully. I still need to finish V2, but I hope to go back to Kilobots Nationals in August, provided that's still happening.
Ok cool, my new Antweight will hopefully be competing in late August as well at circ
I think it's pretty neat that although you've graduated you're still trying to help the people who are still. Great job.
@@KeplerElectronics do you think you put the parts that you used if someone wanted to make a bot like this in the future.
Will we be seeing a vexU reveal in the near future? Also, love the bot! Can’t wait for more of your content
You make some pretty solid stuff and this is no exception, keep up the good work!

This design could totally make worlds if people adapted it to have an intake on the same side of the out take
What state competition. Because mines doing the same thing.
I can't seem to find anywhere to get the treads with screw holes, does anyone have a link?

There is a robotics event in Granbury TX. At Legacy Christian Academy... just so y'all know : )
This man has the audacity to defeat every single snailbot
0:27 mans was pretty close to guessing the meta right off the bat

amazing! The fields are shipping, so you don't need to 3D print more balls :p

Here is a link to some cad balls I found and printed.

Please answer what mic are you using
.
Audio technica at2020. Pretty good, wish it wasn’t USB, but it’s alright for what it is.
Lol you made a 118 2019 everybot
Does this fit the size restrictions?
Pretty sure it is. It's been close to six months since it was together, but I remember trying very hard to make sure it fit.
Using tank fin instead of standoff would solve the pushing ball away problem but there will be less shoot power, but love the robot.
Love it my guy
Can u make a guide for some iq teams I am iq
He does wdr pretty much exclusively, I'm pretty sure he's not doing iq
epic
Thats the best u can do?
It isn’t. That’s his PROTOTYPE.
This game is hella easy and this is the best u can do?
Calm down, sheesh 😒
Bro toxic no need to be like that
How can you be so mean to a guy who's so nice
Chill out

You are very dedicated but the design is not very good
cus it’s his prototype……
