After a prolonged addiction to the Korean web series the first thing I searched for was veg Korean dish....Its kimchi ..I saw this video I tried this dish at home ...now I am eating deshi kimchi 🙏
I tried it with jaggery instead of sugar and 2 spoonful of soya sauce and no other sauce and vinegar.. vinegar prevents fermentation so don't use vinegar or sauce just add two spoonful of soyasauce for taste and add one teaspoon full of rye powder or black mustard for early fermentation and taste..n rest all the ingredients and process is same..
I'm big fan of korean dramas and BTS ( im fan of ur recipes too); so when I saw ur vedio I made kimchi. I Successfully made it in 1st attempt. Bcoz I followed ur instructions step by step. It was very tasty. When ever I try ur recipes I follow ur same measurements, it makes good result. So I'm very happy. Thank you so much sir. I have a request next time plz can u make korean hot and spicy rice cake ( Tteokbokki ). 🙂

At different places the taste varies a little so basically I've tasted many types of kimchi in 10yrs of visits. Koreans cannot think of having a meal without kimchi. They just can't think. @@indrakaps You can keep it in fridge right away but if you want it to ferment quickly then keep it outside for 2-3 days as it is already quite freezing outside as well
@@pref916 Nopeeee, as it was squeezed after scrubed in salt water also it has a perfect crunch as it should have.. Just trust the process and make it..!!❤💗

This is too spicy for a salad. If you are looking for salad, try coleslaw. That is also cabbage based. Can be made with healthy dressing.
