The Drive Driver takes a page out of the ToQ Changer playbook by using the Shift Brace as a reader using the same rail and button system the ToQ Ressha do. Via infrared communication, the Shift Brace sends the signal of what Shift Car is inserted to the Drive Driver, which announces the Type Kamen Rider Drive has transformed into. Shift Speed enables Drive to become Type Speed. Shift Max Flare lets Drive exchange the tire on his suit to a new one, called Tire Koukan. The Max Flare Tire lets him attack with a devastating fire attack! You can also Shift Up by shifting the Shift Car additional times, or initiate the Full Throttle attack by pressing the button on the Shift Brace.
The Shift Cars are a nice size, being quite a bit bigger than I anticipated. The flip to convert them into Lever Mode is really fluid, and is a lot of fun to do. The sounds take a bit of getting used to, but the different tunes for each Shift Car are unique and interesting. Addiitonally, the entire motif of the belt is really awesome, and I love the seat belt look the actual belt straps and latches have. The key turning to initiate each function can be a little time consuming, but adds to the motif and looks pretty neat. Overall, I really dig what the toy has to offer, and with the few Shift Cars I've got thus far, the belt is really interesting and fun to tinker with. I can't wait to see what else we have in store for the future. If you like the show this far, or have a soft spot for cars, this is definitely a toy worth taking a look at.

It's due to the camera. It's able to record down faster than what our eyes can see, for instance, try recording your TV, it'll also be like that with lines appearing on the TV but seeing it with your own eyes, it looks perfect.
to get the patterns here, the internal fan has 10 red LEDs
I got the Mach driver at a convention for 100 dollars here in New Jersey, and I'm going to get the drive driver tommorow for 120 in New York.
That's comes with the belt and shift car holder set or if you buy the shift car holder alone.
This belt got something right that the Sengoku Driver got wrong, cuts back on the talking during the henshin.

Funky Spike comes with the special edition DX driver that included the Shift Car holder, or with the Shift Car holder that was sold separately.
How did you open the back of the driver so you could put the batteries in.
In the series, due to the name "Drive Driver" being redundant, they had to refer to it as "Mr. Belt" ("Belt-san" in Japanese).
I'm guessing, this is so that it's more natural and easier to slot the cars in the brace. It's also like this in the show.
where do you put in the batteries on the belt for the sounds to work

The driver and the brace is amazing. Whoever came up with the transformation device is a genius because the transformation device just blew my mind.
Can your camera change its FPS mode? (24/30/etc.) That's likely the best way to get the Driver's display to show clean on camera.
BTW, does anyone know when the full version of Surprise Drive is gonna be released?

do you need batteries for the belt and also I can't find the place where you would unscrew on the drive drive it's self to put in the batteries can someone tell me where I put in the batteries on the belt
I wonder if you can put shift cars into the toq changer and resshas into the shift brace
The shift cars are too wide to be read into the ToQ Changer and the Resshas leave a very big gap on the sides when read into the Shift Brace.
Why did it's not come with funky spike shift car

So my drive driver isn't playing the full type change sound or the full clip for the standby loop, I'm pretty sure this isn't normal. Anyone have any idea of how to fix it? Or should I send it back to HLJ( where I got it from) because it's defective?
ShukuenShinobi Hey Shuki, you've probably already worked it out, but the flicker issue on the recording is to do with frame rates. You can either increase the frame rate if your camera allows it, or even try decreasing to 30fps.
BTW, your voice was a bit deeper at the start of the video, have you got a sore throat or are you evolving into ShukuenWarlord? Hope you're okay!
He's probably not using the Frame + shutter rule. He is using a dslr like camera and the rule is that the shutter speed is always double the frame rate. incorrect settings will result in this effect.
What happens if you insert the Shift Car unflipped?
What kind of batteries and what size kind of batteries?
H=Hissatsu
T=Tire Koukan
D=Drive
I'm curious about watching someone trying to use a ToQ ressha with this driver, since they use the same rail and button system
While it's the same system, the widths are drastically different. One won't work in the other and vice-versa.

I really feel Drive is kinda like an evolution to the idea of Accel (except Drive doesn't transform unfortunately :c )

I'm primarily a Sentai guy (Other than figuarts as I has 23 KR to 25 Sentai SHFs on last count) but I'm starting to get interested in KR's toy line, I was a huge Kamen rider fan as a kid (Ryuki and Faiz) but have preferred to go Sentai. Gaim piqued my interest and drive's line looks amazing so far. I really want to collect em but they just cost too much, it's either Sentai or KR. They last driver I bought were the W and Accel one since they were on sale at my local store for 20SGD(16USD).

How do u watch the show
The cars kinda resemble ranger keys to me, a flippy thing with a sticker and logo which you insert and move (shift in this case) to gain power. It's like what if Super Sentai were cars?
Well, we had Turboranger, CAAAAAAAAARANGER, and Go-Onger. Super Sentai with Cars.
Belt San does talk in the show
Now everyone is going to get bright red seatbelt stuff instead of the normal extenders because for this driver it actually makes bloody sense...
