Just a note to parents... Kids ( or adults ) constantly yelling or trying to get their attention is one of the many things that can irritate primates ( or any animal ) They do not have the option of a place to get away from whatever is bothering them. They're stuck and have to put up with it...all day every day. My advice is that the next time you go to a zoo stay quiet and watch. Primates natural behavior is fascinating....thank you.
I know! I was just thinking the same thing like please tell your kids not to scream like that you are disturbing the animals. This is where they live, and they don’t have a choice.
Some modern Japanese parents view spoiling their children and allowing them to act out in public almost as a way to identify with upper class privilege. It's not necessarily a conscious choice and is more of a subconscious consequence of worldwide communication and it's effects on status, wealth, and their position in it. More simply if the parent thinks "upper-class American kids do whatever they want. My beautiful perfect babies will be exactly the same!"
@@StoneInMySandal I agree with you. Constant vocal harassment on a daily basis doesn't help though. This applies to any animal that "resides" in a zoo.
Did you see Aunt Mikan run to find her brother? She knew his voice. Gin was a little nervous at first when Ibuki embraced him but sweet Gin knew what to do. Gin is such a nice thoughtful hound adult male chimp. He isn't all concerned with displaying. He will become an alpha like Decky. He uses relationship and comfort to make his allies instead of intimidation and violence like most alpha males.

Those kids are having fun at the zoo as paying customers. You sound spoiled thinking you can demand anything of them. If they disturb you turn the volume down or have your device on mute while watching. 🤓🏴☠️🇸🇪
@@ML_SE Sorry, but I kindly disagree in this matter. Firstly I highly doubt these children payed their tickets themselves( most likely the entrance is free for them); secondly, there is no reason why children should scream for no reason in a zoo. It could scare animals, and as we know, the animals are the ones who are encaged and can not evade the noise. Or can they? It's just a matter of courtesy and respect for the animal.💁♀️
@@desertflower89 That's correct. The parents are the ones who should discipline their kids for screaming. At the entrance of Tama Zoo is stated that there should not be loud noise as it will startled the animals. Children under age 12: Free
@@ML_SE Seems odd that you’d assume the complaint is the kids “disturb” a few minutes of viewing a YT video and not because, I dunno, not disturbing the animals in the only environment we’ve given them to call home. Collin Black BB loves small kids. When he first saw Ibuki and acknowledge him when he was about 3 to 4 months old, he did give him a kiss. There are at times Ibuki would also embrace BB.
That’s highly regular, even w/in larger, wild communities. Ibuki knows to greet Bonbon, just as his his mother and siblings do. He’s a few months shy of being two-yrs old-hardly “new” when you see each other everyday,
Are they directly related? Brothers, cousins, uncle/nephew, or father/son? Or he could just be an alpha male who rarely uses intimidation, or aggression. There are alphas who are gentler rulers, using aggression only to settle fights, or to drive off other males, trying to challenge him. Chimpanzees are so much like little kids. You tell them NO! But in their little fuzzy heads they see yes. Then ZAP! Sometimes it takes three to five times, maybe more, and someone will always be nearby for a consoling hug. Giving them a little it's okay! But many times the other chimpanzee will let the little one get zapped. It's incredible to see how they teach their young in a similar fashion as we do.
