It's time for a change, the teams that actually hadvthe guts to do it have worked out for the team for the most part. I love Tomlin but his time has come and gone if we're being honest. I honestly don't think I can't stand 3 more years of this. Until they make major changes I won't get my hopes up for a championship because they're totally unserious. No way they're ever gonna win it all playing like it's 2001 in the year 2024.

The reason why he took George off the field was because of the way George is acting. I understand George's frustrated, but not running his routes, not staying focused in the game, it's becoming a problem. The players are even getting pissed off at Pickens.

Fields isn’t the issue. How many drops last night? They keep the kid on a leash. They Keep his best weapon ON THE BENCH. They call repetitive, predictable plays. Until Tomlin gets with the times and has a QB he trusts enough, we’ll be in this spot.

sometimes i think tomlin’s gameplan is too reserved instead of letting his team get ahead.

I’m sure you’ve seen it since, but that CB was in Pickens face taunting him at the end of the game, you do that… Pickens can do whatever he wants to you short of throwing punches. It was honestly a hilarious and justified response.

Kevin is SPOT ON. I’ve been saying it for a while: Mike Tomlin is a great guy, players coach and leader. But he is only good for above .500 and 1 playoff win max seasons. I love the guy but he needs to go for us to win a chip.

I’m diehard Steelers fan and massive TJ Watt fan but if this team can’t figure it out I hope TJ gets to play somewhere and win SB he deserves it . He’s that type of special player to not win a SB

The timeout was fine, but gd we have to be more aggressive in the passing game or else you don’t pressure the other team to have to pass. Dowdle had twice as many carries as he’s had all season, cause they didn’t need to push it. Unfortunately, our wr room is trash.

Think about how dumb this approach is. The league is begging teams today to throw and score points. They have designed the league with the rules to protect QB’s and WR’s. What do we do? Play 1970’s football run the ball 90% and throw occasionally. Meanwhile the rules are stacked against the defense. That is our formula to win in this league today? Playing this brand of football today is just plain stupid! Our coaching STINKS!! You can’t win with this brand of football today. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I think with our o line currently Russ would get absolutely smoked. We need to keep rolling with Fields.

I get they wanted to be a run first team but we are missing our 2 best RBs - warren & CP along with missing 3 ol starters! Time to pivot & ffs get roman out there! And use Muth & GP much more. That hit by elandon was amazing that should've won us the game if the ball went in our favour. (Not that we deserved it tbh)
Our number one wide receiver, George Pickens, is half-ass in his routes, pouting, not a good look. Pickens looks like he's going to be a problem.
Tomlin was clearly lying about GP‘s snap counts… The reason why they weren’t playing him was bc he was taking plays off, not blocking and clearing showing that he doesn’t wanna be in Pittsburg.. So they were basically benching him bc GP is becoming a major problem.

We would look much different with Fautanu, Daniels, Seamalu from the start. Also now Herbig AND Leal are hurt too. Roman Wilson still hasnt played, Jaylen Warren and Corderelle Patterson are all beat up, and think about how often those guys give us first downs! … Our Defense would look alot better with Alex Highsmith too! Not to mention, Beanie Bishop is getting torn up lately and it might be an issue down the road.. but not getting into that right now lol. Go Stillers 🖤💛

I sit in the morning and watch garret wilson get 22 targets in a bad offense. It is absolutely insane to me that Pickens is not averaging at least, AT LEAST 10 targets every single game. You get your star players the ball and to see him treated like this is disgusting. We dont even give him a chance to make plays.
Defense gave two interceptions, a fumble recovery, and a blocked field goal. Cant blame them. Offense is horrible.

Im at the point now where I cant wven get mad anymore, ive been complaining about the same shit for 5 years now, also we dont play defense unless its the redzone, najee isnt fast enough to hit some holes that are actually there but it doesnt seem like it because najee is just slow, we are so basic on offense, our secondary is not as good as we thought unless our pass rushers are getting home. Just brutal loss man.
I think us getting Devonte would be great for us bc it would force us to throw the ball more bc there's no way we can have Adams and Pickens on field and not get them their touches. But it is Tomlin so I wouldn't shock me if we didn't.

Offense is to blame, only scoring 17 at home against a team that had their 2 best players on D out. And that's why it's important for this team to try to score more when they are playing bad teams even if they win 13-6

Field isn’t perfect, but what is he supposed to do with a slow running back? That’s basically a back up, a decimated offensive line and a bottom five receiving core? He’s basically in the same situation he was in when he was in Chicago.

When you consistently miss on the draft picks that are supposed to shape your future, combined with a head coach that refuses to change with the times and put trust in the coordinators and players he surrounds himself with- this is what you get. We've seen 4 different QB's, a revamped OL, 2 different OC's and a change in management and its a carbon copy year in and year out

@@ryzegamez3533 I just don’t feel Pat was ever the correct pick. We had a terrible OL and we drafted a tight end that is not a very good blocker. Fautanu in himself is not a wasted pick, too early to tell. But the way they’ve handled the whole Jones, Moore, Fautanu situation makes it feel like one of these last 2 tackle picks was a waste. If you’re not going to move Jones to the left even after taking Fautanu, then you already had your right tackle (Jones)

Tomlin is a great defensive coach and leader but his offensive philosophy is stunting this team. How many offensive coaches and QBs have we gone through with the same outcome
The Steelers have to get with the times. They are living in the early 70's with their philosophy. Even the Steelers of the late 70's were smart enough to trash their former philosophy when the league changed the rules on them. Today's NFL is geared towards points and in particular the passing game, not smashmouth and defense.

You guys are less angry than I expected but you definitely hit it on the head towards the end. We aren't a Superbowl caliber and it's not close. It doesn't matter who we trade, what coordinators we fire or hire, nothing as long as Tomlin is steering this ship. He can't scheme, he can't teach or develop any players, he has no eye for coordinator talent, his in game management has never improved. I don't know what he does that's elite. He's Jeff Fisher at this point. He's mid af. It's been this way for a while now too. Look around the league and you see young coaches like O'Connell in Minnesota and I'm jealous. Then I think about how we just gave Coach T an extension. Not mad... just really disappointed. "I'm bummed aht."
I've been coaching for 30 years. Playing man to man Def in that situation is almost impossible. Should have been up on the line but in a semi zone meaning if a guy runs across your face lock on to him. The offense sucks to. Can't play with 1 Wr. Impossible. Najee is not a 3 down back. We're sounding like the Jets and blaming everyone but the players. Accountability matters.

Go back and look Just like last 4 seasons Steelers Defense keeps them in games and Tomlin winning streak alive. When Steelers won they ran the ball go back and look they ran the ball worked the clock and it allowed defense to get rest, then defense made big plays to win the games . Go back and look at Steelers wins it comes from run game . We need Warren healthy asap
Man.. I want to agree so bad that our defense played well, but I just can’t.. When you average something like 250 yd/game and then let Dak and a practice squad offense put up 450ish yards on you and allow 9-15 on 3rd downs, that is an AWEFUL defensive performance. Yes they had 3 turnovers, but only one was a legit turnover with the Watt/Herbig sack and the block FG was awesome. But the 2 INTs were Dak making stupid throws.. There is no reason that cowboys ‘banged up’ offense should have been able to put up more than 10 points, at most, with how good our defense is “supposed to be”… Offensively, we just sucked there too from top to bottom
