Just LOVED the style and all the re-using the original features plus the new timely correct added ons !!! Just great, ecletic and very tastfully trendy !
sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost my login password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Alijah Quentin Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Y'all didn't think to check for asbestos and lead? Oh it's just mold in here haha oh look at that archway !! So pretty ..... yea get your house inspected before purchasing
I was thinking the same thing. - Demolition alone would have been close to $10,000 - 1,500 sf of flooring @ $4sf (cheap) $6,000 for materials only! Say they find some sap to install that for $5sf your at $13,500 Total of 23,500 and they haven't even started on the addition! Come on... I want to see receipts.
Completely agree. I remodeled a old home, with a similar budget, and learned the hard way. These shows are all PRODUCTION/ ILLUSTRATION. A lot of labor is free. The kitchen alone would have been 50k and removing esbestos would easily be 10k or more . Only a person who has never gone thru a remodel, would believe this only cost 50k. Although, they lie- the flip was still beautiful.
Except for the powder rm mural, this was not just a good renovation, but also focused tons more on how they achieved the end product rather than wasting most of the show filming guys hammering & sawing. I liked that it was more décor-focused & that it was an older home that kept most of its character (will never like blowing out walls; it's the easy way out & never challenging). Just wish the video hadn't ended right when they took the realtor upstairs! Is this a new HGTV show? Searched & didn't find any more of these. I hope it wasn't a failed pilot because I really enjoyed it & want to see more. Also, didn't that Susannah (the blonde one) bear a striking resemblance to actress Susan Sullivan from Falcon Crest? Wondering if Susannah's her daughter?
It was funny that they added a master bedroom of 300 sqf without talking about getting permit. I don’t think it is possible to finish all the work by 6 weeks unless they are super fast and don’t need to get a permit. Doesn’t work in LA though. And the rehab cost is no way to be only 50k unless the labor is really cheap. In LA, adding 300 sqf is around 60k.
You seem to be missing the end portion of this video...........when I watch a video it’s important that the end is included because other wise I won’t waste my time watching more of your videos.....very disappointing!
Since they allegedly have been renovating old houses for awhile (maybe not), wouldn't they already know and have planned for the potential of asbestos? All older houses from a certain period have that risk so it shouldn't have been a surprise. The shorter woman is almost too hyper for TV. Relax. You'll be fine. It'll all work out of you calm down and learn what the TV camera does to a person like you, so (like successful actors do) you can adjust yourself while on camera.
Grey paint? Soooo out of date. Soooo 2009. And why in hell did you cover those stunning honey-coloued hardwood floors with that dark, dead looking laminate?
lol. I highly doubt 2 lesbians would make the design choice to put "Mr." and "Mrs." signs over the bed...a design choice that is completely heterocentric.
Such BS. Why are you deceiving people like that? 50K could be spent on that kitchen alone. It's not like you got white appliances and cheapest linoleum. This is ridiculous. People watch and then estimate their abilities wrong getting a house that's too much of a project thinking they will spend 50K. And enough with this yorkie terrier excitement every second. These ladies are very tiring. Design is beautiful and transformation is incredible though.

The claw foot tub - what a find. I love how they keep the original, vintage charm of the house.

@Alijah Quentin It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
@Gage Adrien Glad I could help xD
They both have a great talent, ideas, superb and I really love it.
Nice renovation, hideous finish. Mindless gray everything...soon to be out of fashion, we hope! Heavy-handed decor, a visual junk drawer.
en
I totally love the gray!
This is from more than 8 years ago and it is interesting to see how many of these interior design trends are still going strong today.
WHAT?!?!?!??! I NEED TO SEE THE UPSTAIRS BATHROOM!
I wish there were more episodes, I love bungalows.
Sewing machine sink is super cool but in a small space I think maybe an old dresser would of added a bit of needed storage.
Not cool not posting the whole episode...😒
Thanks for posting. ☺ I wish I could have gotten to see the rest though. 😕

Amazing Transformation!
Even I knew those shingles were asbestos I don't think if I knew you didn't but I like your work
Amazing team work.👍💕
Fun drinking game, take a drink every time they say bungalow.
I don't know how these things work. Can someone explain to me why don't people get the place checked for asbestos before buying the house?
Its an interesting show. My wife and I convert bungalows in to double units and rent them out.
Y'all didn't think to check for asbestos and lead? Oh it's just mold in here haha oh look at that archway !! So pretty ..... yea get your house inspected before purchasing
OMG:) So much beautiful potential! My dream home 🏡!!!
There's no way they did this for $50,000.
I'd have to agree with Lucille... If they did I want to know where are these types of contractors where I live....
I was thinking the same thing.

@@skylerwade8533 In the full episode video, they say they spent 60K
At one point they said they were over budget by another $10,000.
Does that dough table stay with the house when it's sold? Because it's furniture, not a kitchen island. It's cool though.

My old house had a claw foot tub hidden in a weird box just like that, why did people hide them? I don't get it.
it would be nice of you could provide the paint colors name in the description.

Is there a 2nd part that shows the upstairs renovation?

I didn't know that house prices could be so low in this day and age
Janet Caterina in South, TX believe it or not a home like this would sell for under 30k. either rebuilt or even new.
It would in the Midwest too--maybe even less.
dang i live 2 hours away from Spokane....DAD LETS PACK WE NEED TO MOVE
How much did it sell for shame it was cut off at the end

Anyone know the builders last name???
The exterior color is very boring. Wish they repaint it with the same green color.

But Spokane?? What an awful place to live, from relatives who've lived there (and moved back to Seattle).
why'd she mess the wall up with that wording -Graffiti - other than that it's good
Is Kyle married?

Why did they rid the pantry. A pantry is so attactive and provides so much storage for small appliances and stock food items..

what these two lesbian want $190 for that thing... $65k+$50k reno $115k total investment 👎$75k profit for two month work⬇⬇⬇
Two women working together = lesbians? Seriously? So two men working in a business relationship are gay?
maybe if they act like these two...
Yeah, if they didn't talk to each other they wouldn't be lesbians lol
