Hey guys, welcome to my first UA-cam video on the channel! Today, I’m starting a new series documenting my recovery journey from Tommy John surgery, which is becoming increasingly common in baseball as competition grows. ⚾💪
Tommy John surgery, or ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction, is a procedure to repair a damaged elbow ligament. Named after the first baseball player to undergo the surgery, it has saved countless careers since its inception.
My surgery was performed by the renowned Dr. Neal ElAttrache and Dr. Shin. 🏥✨ Dr. ElAttrache is a legend in the sports medicine world, known for his expertise with MLB players and other professional athletes. He has served as the Head Team Physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Rams. Over his illustrious career, Dr. ElAttrache has worked with stars like Aaron Rodgers, Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, Shohei Ohtani, Zack Greinke, and even celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Charlize Theron! 🌟
