I've appeared for TCS interviews, in Pimpri-Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Pune, Maharashtra.
Interview date: 13 June 2024
Shortlisted type: Digital
I've appeared both(TR+MR) and HR interviews.
Questions asked were:
1) Starting of interview was with introduction.
2) Then asked about my final year project and told me to explain it.(It was AI/ML based)
3) Then 2nd person sitting there started asking....
4)C and Java difference...
5)Told to write a program to find whether the given year is a leap year or not.
6)What is static variable in Java? Explain with an example.
7)Asked to explain my another project which was there in my resume, also asked some questions based on it like which technologies you used, workflow, etc.
8) Once again the first interviewer started questioning....
Some HR kind questions he asked like how many interviews you have appeared yet? Did you receive offers from those previous companies? Why they rejected you, what do you think?
Is TCS ur dream company, why?
I told them that I've also interviewed at Hexaware,
so they asked if Hexaware is ready to give you more salary than us then which company will you choose?
9) He also repeated the same question of difference between c and java languages
10) Asked about Git and GitHub, what is their purpose?(This was mentioned in my resume)
11) Asked about certifications, didn't ask any question...
12)The second interviewer asked about hobbies...
13) asked do you have any questions for us?
TR+MR interview duration: 40-45 mins
After this, I got an instant call for the HR interview
Where all time basic questions were there:
1) Introduction
2) family background
3) In the country, in how many cities, TCS offices are there? Name those cities...
4) what do you know about TCS?
5) Are you aware about the service aggreement?
6) Will you relocate?
7) Where are you from? If you are not from Pune, then where are you staying here?
8) Would you like to know about anything?
HR interview duration: 15-18 mins

Today MY TCS NQT (Ninja)
A crazy interview happened.
Firstly im last one in the panel. After calling my name i just went into the panel.
Interviewer Ask me What are the questions that we ask for before students tell me some questions.
Just literally after 1 min i started saying questions Not ANSWERS guys.
And next Fibonacci series Code on paper.
He gone through my Internships There he Observed my BSNL internship then he asked various questions on my ECE Core. I manage to answer many of them.
MR asked some questions after that That questions just required some thinking sense and common sense.
There is no SELF INTRO and PROJECT related questions
Then passing TR and MR (elimination round). HR asked some basic common questions. Thats my TCS NQT interview For NINJA.
Guysss 1st thing Greet your panel with a smile.
What you know say strong and loud whether it is right or wrong.
Be confident and dont stop your mouth always speak something about topic.
First line you said , this is digital and last but 3rd line you mentioned ninja?

Sir i am from civil and selected for digital. what should do if they are not encouraging civil students
I am from civil branch and appeared on 12 june for digital role. First of all don't tell them that you are from civil
branch, it might possible that they don't notice you are from civil branch. If they get to know the branch (either because you have written your branch on resume or you specifically tell them in your introduction), they will surely ask a question that why do you want to join IT sector? why not pursuing career in civil kind of questions. So be prepared with the answers.
In interview they asked most about project and give what will your logic for different scenarios so work on questions which can be related to your project

One of my friends had the same issue, he was not allowed to give the interview. See they are very strict with the eligibility criteria but you should not miss the chance so go and see what happens because sometimes due to very much crowd they do not check the marksheet thoroughly and you can get a chance.
