If I didn't mention it, I'm in zone 9a. The worst part is the very sandy soil. Potatoes grow well here! Now I need to build a spud gun! Ha.

@@TinaShinnIt's almost time to prep the soil for the spring planting! Once past the last possible freeze will be planting season. I'm looking forward to growing stuff again. It seems so much better when you can walk out, pick something and eat it!
      Now for something silly!
What did one pop tart say to the other? "I have a funny filling about this!"

@@williamforbes5826 I’ve never lived somewhere where I had harsh seasons like yours where you can’t plant things to eat…I plant all year long…I can’t even imagine lol
Thanks for the fun stuff 💕

@@TinaShinn Oh, we can raise food crop plants year round! I just didn't this year or last. Cabbage grows especially well in the winter down here. But young summer plant (squash, zucchini, tomato, beans, corn, etc) would die from a late winter/spring freeze. I need to get busy 'cuz I've been lazy! Once planted you can be a little lazy. But at first, it's a lot of good old fashion work & sweat! Oh, did Paul really wear a 'I'm the warranty' tee shirt under his suit?!? That's something I do! Once finished with the fancy festivities, strip off the tie and jacket...

@@williamforbes5826 oh okay, good that you’re able to plant if you want to 😁
Lol, no t shirt under his suit, I told him not to lol, he’d get too hot 🤣 but ya, second all the meetings were done into T-shirt and jeans, but then awards banquet and ceremony so suit back on 😂

Hi! I haven’t started any from seed yet, but I did collect some from my long green onions, I found that they grow perfect in our climate!
I love the heirloom seeds from Baker’s Creek!

Mistress Tina, Quite contrary, how does your garden grow?
With Silver Bells, and Cockle Shells, and so my garden grows.
