    I’m so grateful to have been born in the 80s and to have transitioned from a young child to a teenager during the 90s.
    The memories from the 90s are the best memories I have, it’s amazing to see how many of us feel the same, it was the last pure decade. It’s a shame it couldn’t have lasted longer and it’s hard to believe this was 24 years ago, where has the time gone? Nearly 40 now and I still feel like that same kid inside sometimes.

    • @MRF1983
      @MRF1983 Рік тому +2

      Same.
      Sometimes I feel like my inner kid is right there with me like that Disney movie The Kid with Bruce Willis and he's yelling at me because our life isn't going at all like we thought it would've.
      Had a young family member die last year, the Green Ranger died and the voice of Batman died. Life feels so heavy now, but this reminds me of when life was light and carefree.

    Late 90s to early 2000s. For some reason those years felt more alive and positive. For me at least. Maybe because I was young and all I cared about are school, friends, playing video games, going to the movies every now and then, buying magazines to read about upcoming games, watching Music videos and basically just having fun. From 2010 to now, every year feels the same to me. Life is like an NBA 2K game now, they just change the number every year but nothing is new and there is nothing exciting to look forward to.

    I turned 17 in 1999 and I‘m so grateful that I experienced the late 1990s and very early 2000s with a decent age. It was a magical time. And it has nothing to do with being so young, even my parents and elders felt the same way. Music was awesome, girls looked so hot (compared with their nerdy style today), people were more natural and positive. Living now in a completely material world where almost no one has friends and trying to be an artificial influencer is probably the worst version of the future ever. Even teens hanging around with depressions.

Instagram influencers are the epitome of narcissism, and people die trying to get selfies these days. The Left and Right were not so divided as they are today. If you think it wasn't better in many ways back then, you have no idea, and you probably weren't around then.

      It's a longing to relive the best times of our lives but knowing we can't. All we can do is peer through the window to the past. Like, imagine if you could only play an amazing game once or watch a great movie one time. Then years later be like "I really want to watch that movie again" but you can't......Nostalgia is such a bitch. But I love it.
