Damn, you got the one piece AR cockpit? That's so sock. Now I'm going to watch this whole video. I can't wait for Enve to release the road SES one piece cockpit for the price of $9,000.
Thanks- I may follow your lead. I did not yet attach the shifters so I can pull them. It was feeling like the sleeves were making it hard to fully pull the hoses through.
The 1 piece bar/stem comes with 2 short pieces of foam sleeve. Assumably to baffle noise inside the bar/stem. I do agree that they are a hassle to use because they bind up at the exit hole where the hose exits and goes external as you mention. It sounds like you did not use them? Glad to hear there is no noise. I may follow your lead.
Yea I love gloss wheels like that. The whole 2.1 tire thing just looked a little off to me so I switched it. If you dm me on instagram I’ll send you a pic of what it looked like with the 3.4s
pro tip for the frays bic lighter then just a tad. too much and it could catch a flame and look burnt or bubble just stop it out with bottom of the bic, mess on your hands no go.
@@bicyclestation wouldn't work with like a zippo has to be bic. Anywho I'm learning myself no shop to my name but building stuff is cool like yeah made that!
It looks like you chose to forgo using the small sleeves that go inside the 1 piece bar/stem for the hoses? Do you find that it doesn't make a difference with respect to noise? Or just a hassle to get them in the bars?
Is that the XX SL crankset and if so, did you use the stadard or wide version and what spacers did you use to acheive the 55mm chainline? I am about to start a very similar build and that info would be very helpful!
I’m doing a similar build but with force road wide crank. It seems like a ton of spacers where the spindle isn’t going to rest on the bearings. How many spacers did you have to use? And did you use inboard t47 BB?
@@bam0505 I used a T47 inboard Wheels Mfg BB. Im not certain the exact number of spacers i used or on which side, i just added spacers to the drive side until a had the desired 55mm chainline, then filled out the gab on the non-drive side. Wheels Mfg bbs come with plenty of scaers included in various iszes, so it makes it pretty simple. I had no issudes wit hthe crank spindle not being on the bearing surface, there was plenty of room. I used a standard mtb width axle Dub XX SL cranks set, which is the same width as a DUB road Wide crank set.
Thanks. That’s helpful. I used the same wheels mfg bb and using SRAMs suggested 2.5/5.5 spacers the preload was coming off the threads. I have it now with I think 6.5 on the drive side. Crankset seems to be centered. But I’m a bit worried about the spindle not resting on the actual bearings. I’ve never understood why spindles are skinnier in the middle… also is it the case where this is less likely an issue with mtb vs road wide spindle because the contact points are different lengths??
@@bicyclestation thats the Power meter one? hehe Honestly why running the XX rearD instead of one of those for road/gravel ? Or is it intended for gravel also? Im running it on my 85 NM ebike, which seems sketchy now..

Looks so good. Thanks for the fun video!
Y’all are crazy with the integrated headset situation. Makes for good content watching y’all do it tho! Love the vids

Decals come off super easy with a hair dryer. Heat is your friend

Yea it’s been an amazing bar. I didn’t realize they came with them. But wouldn’t have used them had I haha
You should still glue the bartape. Just burn the edge to prevent fraying.

SRAM can get you the chain length, they sent me setup key, cog and chain length for my size mog and chainrings 40 through 50
I was offended by the bar tape choice in the thumbnail, but seeing the actual video I dig it
Killer bike! Are those 650 or 700 wheels?
700. I don’t think the mog works with 650b
@@bicyclestation Thank you!
Nice build 💯👌 love the spec of mog. Are those m525 wheel set with xdr hubs?
They are. I think they are kinda cool
@@bicyclestation thinking on doing that set up also. Building a mog right now 1x12 with MTB group set. Thinking between drop bar or flat bar.
I’m unsure it would be possible with a flat bar. I don’t know of a flat bar with internal cables on the market currently
@@bicyclestation they have the fsa icg flat bar, just contemplating between the two. Love all the bikes that you guys build. 💯👌
What is the brand of bar tape used on this build?
Is the Garmin mount for the one piece cockpit compatible with a go pro mount underneath for a light mount? THX

The cables run on the outside of the bar part. Is there a sleeve for the stem part? I honestly didn’t notice haha. No noise at all
Id love a fray as a do it all bike
Email me. I can get you one. jesse@thebicyclestation.com
I would ride one of those
That cockpit price is absurd, looks sick but that's just way too high.
The problem is they sold out of them. Now everyone is gonna raise their prices lol
So just own a bike shop so I can build any bike I cant afford?? haha I love these videos btw
SUCH an impressive weight with those big MB tires on them! Now you gota go do badlands in Europe in that thing!!!
I didn't have he patience to watch the whole build, It's a Shimano Di2 groupset, yes? Is the solid black chainring standard or was that different?
Sram mullet build
