My 2-year-old girl, Macchiato, was spayed when she found me, but I'm convinced that she was either pregnant or had a litter of kittens before being spayed because every time I play a kitten video in the room, she rushes over trilling and looking for the babies. It's one of many reasons why I love fostering for my local shelter; she's my foster assistant!

About 6 years ago it was your videos that guided me through taking in 3 kittens that were maybe 2 weeks old. I thought I was going to foster them but after the 2nd night of feeding them at 2 in the morning I just looked at my wife and said, "You know we're going to keep them, don't you?" I knew I wouldn't be able to let go. 😺😺🧡🧡
That sounds exactly like how I got the two cats I have now. Lol. I started fostering them (through work - vet clinic) when they were 3 weeks old. They're now 12 years. Funny how that happens, eh? Lol. Yay for foster fails! lol
I have been watching her for a very long time. I'm not sure how old I was exactly, but I was somewhere around 11-12, I'm 18 this year it's weird that it has been so long already. I also watched Collins Key before he had a million subscribers at this point. I'm sure I've carefully observed all the streets of UA-cam, lol

I love watching you bottle feed. When I was 9 my dog wouldn’t feed her pup’s so we bottle fed 5 pup’s. No idea what we were doing but got it done. They were all happy, healthy and great new families to go to!
These kittens seems to be healthy little food fanatics. And it will probably be easy to find new homes to them. But something tells me that Andrew will miss his "wedding bouquet".....!
I love kittens, i took in 2 litters last year! For my first time fostering. It was a struggle learning how to care for them, but it is so rewarding in the end. My family adopted one his name is Humphrey, he is so big now and I remember when we first got him screaming with his siblings for food. I love them so much and the people who have adopted them say that they are so sweet and loving. I'm so happy I raised such good boys and girls
SOOOOO CUTE! My heart melts when I hear those little nursing sounds! Between the nursing sounds and the contented purrs once they're finished...my day has been made. 🥰💜🥰💜
I tend to feed the loose latchers and smallest kittens first so that I can circle back around to give them seconds. That gives them time to belch and make more room.
Hannah feeds them last so that the others don’t try to push them away and Hannah can spend more time on them, but she offers everyone seconds anyway ❤ if the bottle is being held at the right angle none of them should have to burp
My bottle babies (Thor and Loki!) will be four in September, right at my birthday. How I remember those days well. When I'd get done with the 'Ba', I'd drum my fingers on Thor's back gently and get a burp out of both ends. Loki would give a burp every so often. They are still so bonded; 22 pounds of brotherly love. LoL

I had never had a cat then I took in a stray and her 8 2 week old kittens and boy did I find it stressful as I was kinda clueless but it all went well and 10 years later I still have the mom.
I remember when I was 14 and watching you for the first time; I was amazed by your care and love for them, I never knew that bottle-raising kittens was even an option. I remember seeing Small Fry's story for the first time and how much I wished that was me doing that. Now I'm 19, and I should be fostering my first kittens soon. Lol where you held his chin shut a bit ("state trooper")... I had to do that with my cat Leo when I bottle fed him and as an adult he to this day enjoys his head being just held like that! xD
Watching her feed the kittens is how I learn how to feed infant animals. Specifically three mischievous baby rabbits. They are almost 2 weeks old. Unfortunately after four hunting dogs tore up the nest, the mother refused to return even after removing the deceased baby bunny. So now I feed them.
What a beautiful video, especially how patient you are with the kittens. I would be frantic, trying to feed the loudest one first thinking the poor thing was really suffering. You just already have the lineup in your head, and the kittens go along with it! So cool! This may have already been covered and I missed it, but what happened to their mother? How long had the babies been in care?

Precious little ones! I’m a foster failure. It tore me apart to give them to new families. I get so attached.
I was a foster fail too. It broke my heart to give them away & they somehow knew what was happening that day, which made it worse.
A foster fail (not failure) is when you *don't* give the kittens you've fostered to another person to adopt, but rather keep them yourself.

The ones who got fed will usually settle down almost immediately, and they typically won’t latch after either

The babies have been in care since about a week old with another foster, she hasn’t shared their origin though ❤ they are orphans though
