I have a Samsung heat pump and one thing I have noticed is it tends to store the water at the bottom until the last 20 minutes and then it will pump big time up to the drawer it’s very funny how it works but it works and it’s cheap to run and I am happy

First think to do, is to install some custom cut aquarium dual density water polishing filter, cut to size. This would help bypass the built-in planned obsolescense😊❤👍

I have something like that and I will make a video of it someday.

@@bootsowen Been using it for the last 3 1/2 yrs, with a single change of filter media(after noticing long dry cycle!). A video will definitely help lot of people that don't understand how the planned obsolescensce is built into supposedly long lasting products!. I do have another samsung babycare washer, with a hollow drum ring, which became unbalanced due to water accumulation, solved by drilling a few holes! to aid drainage(also changed a faulty start capacitor). Still working fine after 8+ years!. ❤️👍

@@bootsowen There is a unique situation I forgot to mention, its a Sears Induction cooktop, the control board fries in a timed manner (1-1/2 yrs). Replaced it a couple times(250+ each time)before giving up and buying a Fagor albeit with less features. It's still working after 9+ years!. Also, when it comes to washers or any major appliances, nothing could beat adding a good surge/emi noise protector at the outlet. There are also, some extreme measures such as power conditioning using harmonic cvt transformers, for heavy duty appliances(esp. Gym equipment, that is plugged in all the time). Just some 💭

@@aware2actionHello everybody, I'm used to repair electrical appliances, what I've found the 2 biggies Korean L- and Sams--g have planned self destruction on most domestic goods. Definitely a good idea to use surge protection on any electronic timer devices. Switch off at plug when you not using it.

Yeah. Can you tell me where the water goes in the dryer?

I put an air-filter in front of the condenser on mine as well recently, because cleaning it out all the time became quite annoying. Also connected a hose directly into the drain xD
I can only assume that the pump somwhow managed to get stuck, or the water sensor was stuck and it came lose again from taking them apart. Who knows!

I'm also interested in this. I have a self cleaning dryer, but some lint still ends up on the condenser.

A potential problem could be that the hose that connects to the water tank at the very top may have a blockage in it, meaning that it cannot pump the water into the tank
I saw a video where a Beko heat pump dryer had the same issue, so it could be a related problem
