Wonderful playing. How long until I can play like Mike? Several lifetimes. Pedal seems nice. I'm torn between this and the MI Effects Lo-Fi Delay. The tap in & out on the Wampler is a winning feature. The MI is capable of more "out - there" effects. Decisions, decisions...
This seems to be a good option to get rid from a EHX deluxe Memory Boy, doesn't it? EHX DMB sounds too digital for me (despite being a reproduction of an analog delay). Anybody here relates?
Thanks for the feedback Mike. Most EHX are great pedals for the money, but I sometimes feel like they're missing something in their sound. I will definitely check this one out.
Yes, still those repetitions sound like digital with low bit rates to my ears. They make some sort of digital distortion that kind of bother me, specially at low speeds.
Really? That to me is about as grungy an analog delay you will find. It definitely doesn't sound any kind of digital... digital sounds clean, lo-fi digital like you would have got 30 years ago just sounds crappy. A BBD being stretched beyond its limits is what is so glorious about the memory boy...
Great stuff Mike!
Brilliant !
kuroneko057 too kind!!!

"How long, to sing this song"? Nice Mike
Benjamin Baldwin thanks!
Question, Mike Hermans; what is currently on your board?
Kudos on the 2001!
To replace my faux tape echo or not to replace.. That is the question.
get one and compare!
Stack both? Cascaded delays are delicious.
I wish. I can't afford that! :(
Faux Tape is the best! Together with my new OBNE Black Fountain V3 my go to Delays.
What happens when you keep the tap switch held down, does it self-oscillate?

Lele Melo I haven't tried the memory boy but this one is very unique and sounds very good

Memory boy actually IS an analog delay.

Why the doctor is the name?
Ahmad Khusyairie I'm guessing Doctor Who because the Tardis is the graphic.
Dr. Who is a time lord.
This is -40-!
