As a somewhat newer player, and none of these ships being in the game, this is a lot of great lore. Hopefully one day we will see all of these capital ships in game along with server meshing so we can actually get enough people to man them.
well the bengal and the javelin are in game they cant be used ny players... normally/ the javelin is tour able during fleetweek while the bengal does flybys
You’re welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed this video and I could help provide some fun lore! I’m also looking forward to when these ships are in the PU, along with the shenanigans server meshing adds to the mix!
The Bengal Carrier is easily my favorite - large enough to hold lots of ships inside, but not so super-sized that it's too costly to use, like the Retribution
I might be alone in this, but I'd love it if there will someday be a ship carrier from Origin. (Not counting the 890J's small hangar.) Granted, it would most likely be the size of a Jav in length, but it would have all sorts of upgraded accommodations for those transporting ships for others.
What a fantastic video!!!! The biggest ship I'll own is the BMM but I'd absolutely love to help crew a Bengal or Javelin in a combat scenario and see how difficult it will be to have 80+ people working together and actually fighting the Vandul or a pirate fleet.
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed this!!! And I think the BMM is more than big enough for me too haha. But I’m looking forward to seeing the logistics of running these bigger cap ships and the impact they have on the game!
Sadly I don’t have any unique insights into the ship building process, but it has sped up over time. Also, Squadron 42 will facilitate a lot of these through the pipeline, along with their teams just getting better and more efficient at ship building/releasing more generally!
i hope we see another capital ship tour at invictus 2953. i miss last year's event. once these big ships start to be available to players and populate the PU, i can imagine constant battles and some cheeky players will park those ships at space stations just to create mayhem. or some players or orgs playing space police doing blockades around grim hex lol
I hope we get another flyby as well! And I’m looking forward to seeing how people use these as well; a blockade or support during a dangerous large-scale multi-Org operation would be really cool!
The lengths are all tentative with these concepts, but the Kingship is supposedly larger. Although we’ll have to see how everything shakes out during Squadron 42 when they end up releasing them to us!
You’re right, the playlist could have been better! This video fits the format of the others in the series but this definitely doesn’t fit the playlist as well!
Of course! This entire project has been backed by pledges of (at one point) all unreleased ships! I'm confident in the company and the project so I'm happy to speculate on them too!
@@ViciDeum their are big ships like the javelin/idris been done for ages and they just choice not to release it... and the kraken been introduced almost 6years ago and theirs basically no one working on it for the past years D

@@brick-2000omg u goof
@@airstuck3929 how am I a goof he said "in game" not "flyable" so what I said doesn't make me a goof
The fact that my org has 3 Javelin 5 idris and 2 vanduel makes me goosebumps to fly these ships

I hope we get to spend a good amount of time on one during Squadron 42! And I’m looking forward to seeing them rebuilt in the game!
Don't forget that in the stretch goals we also unlocked the cruiser and battlecruiser, both of which are supposed to be flyable.
I did forget that, but thanks for reminding me! I can’t wait till we see both of them in the verse 😁👍

I love the idea of a luxury carrier and hope that we see something from either Crusader or Origin in that regard!

This gives me EvE vibes, back when it was actually good, but this time actually on foot and in first person. We have come a long way indeed :)
Don't forget about the Drake Leviathan, lol. Great video!
Hahaha, I forgot about the Drake Leviathan! That was a fun meme to circulate, hopefully they do a little homage in game!
Love the new video, Vici! Super informative and well done, as always! 👌🏼
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed this! And thanks for taking the time to share your support!
i think a guide on how many months ships would take to develop would be great.
Capital ships take years, how long would the Jav or Beng take? Decades?
Sadly I don’t have any unique insights into the ship building process, but it has sped up over time. Also, Squadron 42 will facilitate a lot of these through the pipeline, along with their teams just getting better and more efficient at ship building/releasing more generally!

I just want my Perseus and Galaxy. Maybe an Idris if I can co-opt the efforts and funds of some friends.
Those are some awesome ships, I’m looking forward to them as well!
I hope the capital ships somehow get incorporated into arena commander. That would be a great experience.
That's a really cool idea, I would love this!
I can't wait for my grandchildren to fly the Vanduul Driller!
I'm sure they'll appreciate you for it, and carve your legacy for the eons!
i would like to live in the bengal such a hug fleet carrier is so cool to me
Agreed! Even if I just end up swabbing the poop deck, every hand helps haha!
Great video you should do best fighters
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed this! And that’s a great idea, I’ll just need to get a little more flight time first haha
#Pegasus self owned and operated.
That’s one hell of a ship!
No Orion..? Thought it was supposed to be bugger than a Javelin...
The Orion is big but not quite as big as the Javelin, which has almost 200m on it!
Pretty sure the Retribution is bigger than a standard Kingship. And a fully laiden Hull E probably bigger than Javelin.
The lengths are all tentative with these concepts, but the Kingship is supposedly larger. Although we’ll have to see how everything shakes out during Squadron 42 when they end up releasing them to us!
ooh new vidoe
Every Friday at 3PM EST 😁👍
@@ViciDeum nice
so! is it possible to control carrier ship solo? such as bangle ?
I like the enthusiasm haha! While it's theoretically possible with AI and blades, I suspect in practice this just wouldn't be doable.
@Vici Deum umm, how about small fly ships that store inside bangle? Can we control both carrier and squad ships by solo with AI? Or only 1 carrier?
@@donagod57 Sadly they specifically mentioned not wanting to allow this fleet style gameplay, so you need to be captaining only one ship at a time!
@Vici Deum if that so. For solo player buy a big destroyer must be better than buy a carrier without small ship support. Thank you
neat
I’m glad you liked this!
a buyers guide with 4 of the 5 ships you cant buy ever ?
yeah clickbait

Unintentionally, this was just poor playlist placement!
You're just watching the video too early.. come back in 10 years :D
People really comment on these videos about which unreleased ship is their favorite lmao never seen that before.
Of course! This entire project has been backed by pledges of (at one point) all unreleased ships! I'm confident in the company and the project so I'm happy to speculate on them too!
***IMPORTANT****: you can't fly any of these. So this isn't an _actual_ buyers guide
You’re absolutely right, my apologies! I’ve now moved this into the correct playlist category!
“5 ships we”ll never get in game”
We’ve already seen the Javelin and Bengal showed off in the PU!
and the only playable largest ship in sc right now is the HH💀
Big ships take a long time to make!
