● BACKGROUND FOR THIS SONG CHOICE: Having seen some of Hurricane Helene's extensive damage to the North Carolina and western Virginia areas first-hand, it's been so very inspiring to witness the extensive, helpful kindness among so many folks (from both around the surrounding areas and beyond).
Unknown friendly neighbors clearing and removing many downed trees from surrounding area roads. Power crews working 16-18 hour days, helping to restore power. Food & supplies arriving from many sources outside the area, to those in dire need. The amount of positive stories are many... It helps restore one's faith in humanity!
Seeing that kindness reminded me of this Glen Campbell song, one that Campbell himself often referred to as "one of his very favorites!" It inspired me to get out the guitar and play. I hope you enjoy my take, from one of my favorite recording artists! ☮️❤️🎶
