- It was an entertaining stream with lots of funny (and "seiso") moments. I also had a lot of fun making this clip. Tagalog being my native language helped a lot in easing the translation effort needed (if only it's the same in Japanese). There were a few untranslated lines since my friend and I couldn't discern those with our native ears. We thought that it didn't affect much context-wise, so we just left it as is. There's another clip from this stream that I'll be uploading as well. I hope I'll be able to finish it over the next few days.

I've noticed how the profanity's nuances kind of get lost in a lot of translated subs of PH Vtubers, like almost like it's being downplayed LOL.
Yeah, unfortunately some terms have no direct translation in English which is why those are quite tricky to translate and can end up being lost in translation. The best that can be done is to find out the closest possible counterpart given the context, or just use localization.
@@rstripmode Yeah that's definitely true, Filipino's a very unique language with an unparalleled timbre and prose. In particular though sorry to nitpick, but I think "Gago" would be better translated as "bastard" rather than "asshole" especially in this context.
@@xeixi3789 well ptnginamo is mofo, gago is a jerk, then if you refer to a bastard you say tarantado. literal translation for an esshole is mukhang puwet because puwet is a butt so if you face an ess looking people i say "mukha kang puwet"

i always watch this clip when i get it on my recommendations. fave ko yung "putangina oo, alam kong maraming square" JFJDJ yung pause ni kaheru after niya sabihin na marami yung squares always gets me 😭 parang naisip niya na "taena ang bobo ko dun" 😂
