That dress is a keeper! I really like it, so I’m going to try it out. It doesn’t look like a maternity dress, it just looks like a empire dress. They are flattering to multiple figure types. That black fabric would look stunning with that pattern. 👏 good job.
Hello! I'm the person who creates all the free Mood patterns and I really enjoyed seeing your version of the Amaryllis! Bonus points for the pattern hack. ;)
I like the bodice on your dress and how you finished the lower skirted area. I will look for that mood pattern link and definitely take that bodice and put it with something else. Happy sewing😊
Very nice dress.I hope you show us the black one when you make it.I like the tank top underneath.Even if the dress was a little to low in front the tank top would work well.thanks Sheri.
Thanks Pauline, I will show the black one. It is laid out on my sewing table but that is as far as I got so far. lol. Haven't seen you lately hope all is well with you. Take care
Yes, 100% agree with you. Good call removing the middle waist band pieces. They really do make this dress look maternity. I've sewn this dress for two friends so far -- one pregnant and one not. I wish I had removed the middle waist band for the non-pregnant pal! All well. I am about to sew this pattern a third time and will add pockets into the skirt side seems. As well, instead of using the inner collar and V-neck panels, I just sewed a full lining, since my fabric was a very thin cotton. This helped prevent my dresses being see-through too.
@@samcdelaney it is a good pattern I am wondering why I haven't made it again lol. Lining it is a very good idea 💡 the pockets are a must in my books. I hope your friends know how lucky they are to have a special friend like you who sews for them. 🥰 you have reminded me how much I like this pattern❤ thank you and good luck with number 3 😊
I have to agree with Sue Brickett.....it looks very nice and comfortable, and I think it would make a great top to go with pants or shorts if the skirt part was much shorter.
Hi Shari. It’s so pretty. I love how that turned out. The eyelet is such a summery flowy fabric. It’s perfect. It’s nice to see a mood pattern review. I haven’t found there’s too many of them. I like to get an idea what it turns out like before I decide to make it.
Thanks. The pattern goes together quite easily and everything matches up. When I was editing the video I was wondering why I didn't add pockets. Lol. Never thought of it till now.😊

Whew, thanks. I like that style too. It is a nice pattern I think. 😊
Lovely white eyelet dress! I agree with you, the Wong side of that fabric is perfect!
Thank you so much!

Hello, the designs are always so clever, I like your work. I think that was my favorite make all summer. Thank you ❤
Are seam allowances included?
@@MoniqueLaurat Great question! Yes, the seam allowances are included and should be indicated on the pattern. :)
