The black tongue is actually the version that is true to the OG from 85, if you check out pictures of MJ wearing the highs they have the black tongue and red laces. The pair that came out in ‘15/‘16 changed it up and had the white tongue but that was not on the OG

I agree with the Chinese new Year Jordan low being the Jordan 1 low of the year but yes it was a problem even the doernbecher 1 was tough (missed on both) . Love these on feet reviews and lace swaps. The black toes still a dope shoe and nice material. Chinese new Year at #1 spot, doernbecher at # 2, black toe #3 and I'm standing firm on that considering the line up for the rest of the year.

Jay the Jordan 1 Lowes Chicago's look awesome and I think the glossy material that is on that particular shoe makes the shoe pop and and gives it a more of a shine. And I like the classic red laces on the Jordan one loads but I also like the black lace. But yellow laces are not bad but there's nothing like a classic red lace or a classic black lace on a Jordan 1 low
