There's not enough left handed models from PRS se line. Need a cheap hollowbody, and is that Norwegian Wood at the beginning? Thanks again Jonathan. Did you like the fat neck?
I’ve actually played one of these Jon and they are astonishingly beautiful. Amazing tones unfortunately my little hands meant the neck wasn’t comfortable and I found it slightly harder to bend for some reason. But the tones you get from it are heavenly. The intro was fantastic as usual Jon - cheers
I recently got a PRS S2 McCarty 594 Thinline, and my initial impression was so-so. But as the days went on and I played it more and more, I slowly fell in love with it. I have other guitars that play better, sound better, and sustain better, but there's something very special about the PRS that inspires me to play. And the more I do, the more I begin to understand why these are loved by so many people :)
This guitar is like having several guitars at the same time. You demonstrated its features in a great way. Looks beautiful and your playing sounded amazing!
A few months back I bought a rough 2001 Santana SE, and like was said below, I slowly fell in love with the "fat neck" feel. Yesterday I was wondering if PRS had a git-fiddle with a piezo and "hear" you are with one..... Thanks Jonathan for ALL the reviews & playing, this channel is inspiring!
Hello, thank you for introducing this vintage guitar. Today I bought a number of prs Holobody and we like its style very much. I hope we will be good friends
Laminate maple top and back, mahogany sides, ebony fretboard with real abalone bird inlays, mahogany wide-fat set in neck, PAF-style 58/15S humbuckers, 25" scale, 22 frets, real flamed maple body, neck and headstock binding. PRS smashed it out the park with this model.
These guitars are so good they are very hard to find in Nov 2021... I searched for 6 months to find a Tobacco Burst and finally landed one last week. I'm a happy camper... Its an amazing instrument!
What's really weird, and something I didn't expect, is that listening to the guitar in the video, I hear a lot of specific similarities between how this one and mine sound. I can't even define it, but I can "just tell" that it's the same guitar. Those pickups are a lot more distinctive than I expected, apparently. That's not something I've ever noticed with any other guitar before. Worship Tutorials made an IR specifically for this guitar, so if you have a capable pedal, etc, it'd be worth trying out.
Just got one of these and a fireburst mahogany standard in the Black Friday sales in the uk new for 50% off each. These guitars are amazing and your playing is inspiring. God bless you John and a happy Christmas to you and your family from Adrian in the UK.
That piezoelectric prs is brighter and cleaner than the standard hollow one.. such a great idea of prs. I love the dynamics of applying transducer technology for guitar. Makes for a more precise clearer picking sound... Nice job ..am getting spoiled with your reviews Jon ..sianora and god bless .
I could use that playing with my ear buds to go to sleep to at night. Sweet playing as always. I like this PRS. But...you need to get your hands on one of the new Fender Jazzmaster Acoustasonic guitars for review. They sound pretty great.
Well done like always, Jonathan! My Harley Benton CST24HB looks quite the same (without the shapped lower horn and black pu-rings), but for sure different sounding ;-) and a fraction of the price ...
You make this one sound better than mine, Jonathan, but I'm mostly an acoustic player and am still learning to use the 58/15s pickups. I also adjusted the G saddle for a wound third string (exl110w). I'm happy you demo'd this guitar! You always bring the best out of each piece of gear you play. Thanks! Have you done the SE Paul's Guitar yet? That's what I am thinking about getting next, for single coil sounds.
Sounds great, but then again with your playing everything sounds great 😀 If I may a small note to something I've noticed in previous reviews of certain guitars, though, and it's prominent here for obvious reasons...it's "piezo", not "pezio" 😉
Nice video, nice guitar, and fantastic playing. As a fairly recent viewer of your channel, I don't know much about you, but I have a question, are you making these videos in a van ?
Nice review. How do you compare this guitar with Schecter C1 electro acoustic guitar? They both look the same but Schecter has a dedicated tone knob as well with a 3 way switch.
Hello. I'm thinking to buy a PRS SE PIEZO II and i´d like your opinion about this guitar quality/price. Is it a good piezo or not credible sound? In general what's your opinion. Or there is another option more interesting electric/piezo guitar THANKS
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Hello Jon, Great review of the new PRS...I've been saving up for one and hope to have it in a few months. I've been searching itunes backing tracks but cant find the one you are using, do you have the name or who created it? Thanks for your youtube channel.
Hm I really dig those warm singing clean notes, like you play or ruben wan style. But I want to play some more rocky riffs with some overdrive as well. Do you have any recommendations that dont break the bank too much?
It's a flat top case, and not many plies. I'm definitely not stacking anything on it when laying flat, but there's no way it would survive in the SE gigbags. I'm looking for Core HBII case already, and I've only had mine since January.
Your less than enthusiastic review and cursory reference to the piezo was enough for me to reject this model. Sort of a niche guitar, like if you play a wedding and only wanna bring one guitar for a variety of genres. Of course you don’t have to use the piezo Jack or pickup at all, but there’s a hefty jump in price, so…
Lol.. No.. its because I normally don’t use piezos when I play live… but I did demo it’s use either in this video out the other ones with the same config

That’s just a sticker for Davis guitars ✌️❤️
Nice video, nice guitar, and fantastic playing.

@@JonIsJustTooLoud ok thanks for your quick reply.
Does the neck have a satin finish? I haven’t touched a PRS guitar in a long, long time.
Nope it’s a gloss finish✌️❤️

Is it sensitive to feedback since this is a hollow body?
It depends on how loud you play✌️❤️
Love the track you are playing with in the demo. is it available for download?

Hi Jonathan 👋🏼:-)
Hi! ✌💙
Which amp would you recommend for this guitar to get the most out of it?
It depends on what genre you are going for ✌️❤️
Hm I really dig those warm singing clean notes, like you play or ruben wan style. But I want to play some more rocky riffs with some overdrive as well. Do you have any recommendations that dont break the bank too much?
I Have one in blue. Run the piezo into an acoustic amp and the magnetic into whatever guitar amp you like. Play with the mix.
Nice looking guitar but is that case as cheap as it looks? Great playing as usual.
It's a flat top case, and not many plies. I'm definitely not stacking anything on it when laying flat, but there's no way it would survive in the SE gigbags. I'm looking for Core HBII case already, and I've only had mine since January.

Can you give an estimation for the price of this beauty.
The price is stated in the video
Can this beat a Harley Benton?
Price-wise I doubt. The sound beats the Harley Benton imo
Yes the pickups are better ✌️❤️
Has anyone here ever had a guitar set up with a plek machine? If so, was it worth doing?
Watch out for a pleking video from me soon ✌️❤️
Yes I have an epiphone 59 that was pleked. Plays way better than my les Paul’s that are not.
