Oh my goodness! That church! If that church is in danger of being burnt down, someone needs to rescue those icons and give them to another, functioning church.
Yes, it appears to me there has been a mission of folks, believers who have clean church. But I agree before a fire or roof leak, the Icons, need to be salvaged, placed in a museum. Maybe use dome for centerpiece. With cover, But all of this costs money. If you have ever been to Russian stores, often in West this stuff is for sale to westerners. I don't like it but if it's going to ruin or burned, let folks enjoy it. I don't know if funds can be raised via online, GO FUND ME is possible to save this history or not. Prob is so many churches need same help as I've been told. Seems Russia has too much history to preserve all.

@@westhamaremassivee yeah bald,Harald and Simon were in Ethiopia but suddenly stopped vlogging!I wonder if they are ok.
@@IndigoTraveller I think we need an indigo traveller video to Belarus to find Kolya, he likes, vodka, rubbles, smokes, and sausages lol
Can you imagine the winters in her abandoned village, and she's living through that, absolutely amazing!
With cover,
But all of this costs money.
Been watching your videos since your Chernobyl visit back in 2017! (For anyone who hasn't checked those videos out, Igor was his Chernobyl guide back then as well!) Great work, love your commentary and your approach to telling a story.
I've had the guide and the lady on my mind since i heard Russia had captured chernobyl, hopefully they are all ok.
Literally same! My first thought after they took Chernobyl, hope she’s doing fine!
She’s fine .. most of the older generation in Ukraine speak Russian and are sympathetic to the Soviet days
Thanks Nuk, great video footage. Wow the isolated lifestyle that lady has is incredible, not even a telephone. Fascinating to see the abandoned Church when you were there. I never knew it was so close to Belarus. Incredible. Great drone footage as well. Rog. 👍
Omg last resident from Chernobyl distater?! You're doing a great job, thanks for making this video 🙏🙏
Thank you, very much!
Apparently more than a few of the older generation snuck back to their farms. I couldn't begin to imagine how hard it must have been for the oldest residents to face forced relocation. Got to admit I would love to visit the Exclusion Zone myself. It would be fascinating to speak with the rare resident still there.
Dogs really are amazing creatures, Man's best friend.

She is leaving at a paradise , away from all the craziness.
Exactly. I think that whole thing was a mind job, just like this mind virus.
That dog was sh*tting his pants with excitement over new people 😂❤️
it was 2 males that thrilled the pooch!
That church is absolutely incredible.
Fascinating. You have completely turned into a documentarian and humanitarian. World needs more of you.
Too kind, thank you very much, Laurie!
Thank you for going places noone wants to go, but are still super curious about! Another fantastic video!
Wow this was so interesting to see Nick. Thank you for sharing this. I find the Chernobyl situation to be fascinating as my family is from Ukraine and Belarus and I’m glad you’ve returned to show us more.
Thank you!
Just incredible. She's all by herself in this village. No idea what's happening in the outside world. I can't imagine.
I am obsessed with all things Chernobyl & the Soviet era. Absolutely love your film, just wish it was longer!
If u go to Crimea majority of the Russians nd Ukrainians there love the Soviet days it’s like going to time warp same Odesa
She's extremely strong and resilient. God bless her. She seems happy and that is her Home. That Church was beautiful.
14:37 Wait what is his point? Belarus was way closer than both Chernobyl and Pripyat, yet people there were not evacuated?
I didn’t understand either?
ya even i am confused as to what point was been made there
Probably this what you are saying.
Must get very boring for her at times,She said she has a TV but broken one, is there any way we could organize to get someone to bring he an tv and install it for her? I would be willing to pay for it if it can be arranged
A TV does not resolve boredom. The woman does not have TV as a priority... there are many like her! TV subscriptions are not constructive! Can I get a -- p r o p a g a n d a?
Bless your soul 💕
If given a choice I would prefer a radio to a television.
She can be given a radio for example, its a better way to connect older people.
Better help her by giving her equipment for potatoes. She has more important things to worry baout than boredom. Like food!
Chernobyl looks like a cold, gloomy, and isolated place except for the church where it looks like there can only be hope for the people of Chernobyl. Thank you Nick!
Thank you for watching and commenting Michelle!
I hope she is okay
I admire her self-reliance.
Compelling material Nick, thanks so much for sharing. Good health to you!
Thank you for watching :)
I have so many questions. If she's been there alone for 30+ years, where did she get the cat and dog? Were they strays, or did someone bring them to her? Perhaps the military checkpoint men? Does she grow wheat to make the bread? Who fixes the downed power lines? I can't imagine a utility company would bother to keep fixing them in an abandoned area.
they have to fix it as the powerplant needs energy
That Gigercounter is going on like a radio transmission...The lady is very old, radiation primarily affects the younger people and younger women especially of childbearing age. Great content bro!
Glad she has such a cool dog by her side to keep her company.
That church was beautiful! And that special lady really was amazing! Thank you so much for bringing us to places that most would never see.
