But it wouldn't be a test of GPU, but a test of CPU and GPU combo, which is something different. If you want to know something about a card you don't want a test, where it can be bottlenecked. Also if he'd made such video with one CPU youwouldn't know much about other combos. IMHO you should choose GPU first and than look for another videos or tests to pair it well with CPU.

Noway , the 1660 is always worth it over the 1650s for that extra vram cause games in the ps5 era will definitely require atleast 6 gigs of vram to push ultra reso textures at 1080p . You'll then see that the 1650s will start struggling when higher textures are enabled and the performance will go down drawtically. The same thing which happened with the 1050 and the 1050ti , that extra vram literally took the edge in the latest titles , same with the 6gb 1060 over its 3gb variant

Since consoles do not get updated, it only takes 1-2 new gens before they become bad again. Ex: in 2013, the x box giving gtx 760 perf for 500 was great, until 2015 when it was outperformed by maxwell, then really bad when pascal and turing were released. Well see a nice console pricing for this gen, and then by then we will have ampere and whatever amd is up to which will beat consoles again.

checking - this - since it seems i'm being 'forced' to get an 8GB card - my 1650Super has served me well.
I'm pretty sure some games will - refuse to load soon - not just give a VRAM low warning - you've not got 8GB. Like when 2 core CPUs became obsolete - forced to go 4 core. Problem is most of recent 2022/23 games aren't worth a bag-of-nails....
