Dude Konami just doesn't f**king miss with Duel Links music, especially the Arc-V characters. I just wish they'd reveal who the composers for the game are, because if they're not freelancers Konami needs to put them on more projects.
I love how Konami made the song techno. It definitely fits Yugo's character and where he comes from. And the small addition of Yuya's Duel Links theme to signify that he is still technically Yuya makes it even better.

This theme is FIRE, you can tell they went hard while making it. I love how techno, fast and energetic it is. Already my favorite theme in the game besides Playmaker's and Ai's victory theme
God I love this theme. I like how the theme gradually ramps up in some parts then it shifts to a different beat before ramping up again. Makes me imagine Yugo shifting gears and speeding up faster in his duel runner.
I was already expecting the theme to be full techno and konami didn't disappoint me with this theme as usual. It was inspired by the theme of Unbeatable Fight.

There's a lot in this song that I could talk about that has these emotions swing like a pendulum within a duel (pun entirely intended), so allow to explain my analysis of this song using what know very little about but have enough understanding to called music theory. At the very beginning of this video, it uses techno synths. Obviously it's within the entire video, but that one note that goes from 0-100 real quick is an attention grabber. It could indicate that the duelists are starting their engines and/or that the audience ladies and gentleman along with boys and girls alike are welcomed to this special event. The small tune that plays before Yuto's and Yuya's leitmotif is telling the duelists to ready their duel runners or motorbikes if you prefer. Within that, it's a countdown for the duel to start...3...2...1...GO!!! I should also point out that Yuya's leitmotif at the second half if his song and Yuto's leitmotif of the first half of his song are almost similar to each other, yet they sound different due to different notes played in their respective leitmotifs indicating their personalities and tones of their characters. This one has Yuto's leitmotif in it. Without further ado, the leitmotif plays for the first time and sounds easygoing as if Yugo's opponent starts the duel off with their own strategy. Of course this is the beginning of the duel, so the Battle phase is unavailable to do. The leitmotif plays again, however it's a little more intensified indicating that it's Yugo's turn and that the odds are in his favor. After the leitmotif ends on a high note, their's a tune that plays before the soft strings takeover. That tine sounds twisty in my opinion. It sounds like a trap has been activated against Yugo, and because he can sometimes be overconfident and hot-headed, he odds that were in his favor have now stacked against him due to his own huberous. It's back to the opponent's turn, and things aren't looking good for Yugo. The opponent summons a really strong monster card that looks to be really tough to take down, and takes out some of Yugo's life points. The tune ends, and it's Yugo's turn again. This time the strings play softly. It's a somewhat similar but different melody played at the second half of Yuto's song. The soft strings could indicate that he's having a flashback remebering the times when he was with Rin. This flashback reminds him of what's at stake, so he uses those memories as his motivation to drive to victory. The melody plays again, but it's more tensified as Yugo draws his card and strategizes. Eventually, within the emotions the song carries, he might've synchro summoned Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. Before I go on, there is another melody that plays in the climax/near the end of this song. This melody is similar to Yuya's melody that plays after the first half of the song indicating his optimistic and fun-loving nature as a duelist. It plays even before the second-half or climax of the song initiates. With this in mind, this melody plays in the climax of Yugo's song in this video game. It sounds as if Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect has activated, however the opponent has activated another trap card that could target and destroy Yugo's signature card; however Yugo set up a trap for that to counter it. So the opponent's strategy was wasted leaving them merely defenseless and vunerable. The melody plays again but at much higher notes. The duel is almost over! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon's effect activates, and Yugo goes in for the attack! The opponent's trump monster card is destroyed, and they lost all their life points. As the song ends on a high note, Yugo becomes the victor as he crosses the finish line. Even though these songs are in a loop, I think that that was the best way I could describe Yugo's song in terms of the use of these varying instruments and how they were used to sway emotion and deliver personality. It's like the song itself was a duel consisting of duelists shifting the scales in these battles. This is my personal take on what these music artists were going for. What do you all think?
honestly the event was dope. Yugo is charismatic npc, the 3d models are great, having some form of speed duels and this kickass ost made this event really fun. Also fusion monster

Interesting that the theme is actually more of a remix of Yuto's if you listen to the notes that begin up until 1:14 where it has part of Yuya's theme, and then ends with the same notes that Yuto's has, just sped up. If it's any indication what Yuri's theme is going to sound like, probably having notes of all of them but shifted in a more ominous tone.
Konami never disappoints us with these banger themes and i love this one. I like how it captures the speedy energetic vibes he has one of my favorites for sure. I cant even imagine how good yuris will be

I’m not sure if he does this in the Japanese dub but what I found interesting is that in the Korean dub, Yugo says the level of the monster in Hanja rather than Hangul. So if he summons a level 7 monster, Yugo would say “레벨 七(치)!”
I have to admit I listened to this as soon as his event started, and my initial reaction was pure shock and enjoyment. I sat and did nothing in our duel for a full 4 minutes because I kept waiting for the music to die down, but it just got better and restarted perfectly. Chefs kiss! 11/10
