  • The San Antonio Spurs have in my opinion, the best and most well executed offense in the NBA. They run their plays, and move well to get great shots for the likes of Tony Parker and Tim Duncan.

    Perfect Passing, Perfect Cuts, Off-ball Screens etc No other Team in History that executed as Perfect halfcourt Team Offense than the Spurs.. Hawks and Warriors Today is just a Copy of Poppovich's Spurs. IMO this Spurs can beat any Team in History, their offense is just too Advanced and too Perfect

      +Peter Griffin Yeah. I love this type of offense. The amount of fundamentals in this is ridiculous. The best part about this is that this type of basketball is that it favors being wise, so the older they get, the more productive they can be.

    All of these plays work but the absolute best play I think was the elevator play, not to be funny. It works amazing how the two pics cut the the teammates's man off and he gets an open shot. The players who are the defending the 2 guys that are setting the pics won't get to the shooter because they are playing man. Very nice play if u have a shooter that can hit shots.

    Coach Pop is a genius, however he is off court. He needs two extremely smart players to implement these offensive strategies. And i think he has more than 2, Parker,Duncan,Ginobili

      @gbballpl 7 років тому

      well duh he's off court, hes a coach lol. pop obviosuly needs intelligent players to buy in and implement his system. This is why 1) aldridge is not fitting well (bc he doesn't know how to play fluid offense) & 2) this would never work with low iq players, such as carmelo anthony or russell westbrook.

    Basically a bunch of screen and rolls trying to draw in defenders, cuts and passing. Rarely do they ISO and when they do usually it's a mismatch or in good postion.

    • @williambergmann641

      Depends. Are we allowed to play zone? Then Spurs. If illegal D is a foul, then the Bulls.

  • @cakesandpi
    @cakesandpi 9 років тому

    I wish the Bulls could run an Offense like this, I know that that Drose could easily play the roll of Tony Parker, he would just need to stop jacking up all them 3's, Gasol, Noah, Mirotic can pass I would rather Noah come off the bench or soothing though because if he isn't passing well then he can be a huge liability, Jimmy can be like Ginobli but younger and better, not at passing but most thing these days, the only problem is the Bulls roll player are not as good, Bulls need a proper back up PG or 2 and more guys you can put in a pick n roll that can shoot.

      Well, that may be how they enforce the rule, but Duncan pretty clearly breaks the rule as written at
      www.nba.com/analysis/rules_10.html?nav=ArticleList Section XIV-Traveling. He catches the ball with his left foot on the floor (count one), steps right (count two), then steps left (count three--Houston, we have a problem) before sort of coming to a stop on both feet while making the pass. If they're going to enforce that as legal, they should rewrite the rule.
