- A very strong forecast showed up for the Danish north west coast. It was strong and gusty anywhere from 35-60+ knots, most of the time way too strong to work on technical training. I still managed to push it. This video covers it all, big single loop combinations including a Troobie loop, doubles, even triple loops and to finish a mindboggling huge send.

That's for everyone to decide on an individual basis. As far as I'm concerned guys like Ruben are still to be admired as the founders of the extreme version of big air and the guys that had to innovate because nothing existed yet. I, for my part like the extreme version best. High loops, low kite angles and pull and yank. That being said, that version is not what wins competitions as higher technicality will be awarded with higher scores. Times are changing whether we like it or not😉

The average height is just mindblowing. It was 60knots but still! So impressive. Especially the triple with the downloop
Thanks, the triple was on the first day of the strong wind August 7, Wind maxed out in the gusts at about 50 knots. The second day August 8 wind was gusting 60+ the scary part was there was 20-25 knots difference between the ground wind and the gusts

Thanks, yeah that triple isn't that big of a deal, you just need strong winds and a fast kite that's about it. As I expected it's not that technical🤙

Well bro that's where the video evidence comes in place. I got a few also from previous sessions like Storm Eunice where it's up to the viewer to tell if there is something wrong with their eyes or .......
@@Jamie_Overbeek honestly, the Woo is no better than rolling a dice. Using acceleration and maths to figure out height is so prone to error. One tiny mis-measurement by a accelerometer that etched onto silicon adds up to many meters of error in real life. You need lidar or something.
Yeah probably there are much more expensive ways to measure true height but it's for most users about fun and using the results as a way to improve. Don't take it too serious, nobody is claiming an official World record, it's just the WOO community that crown their King and that's cool
