I've read on some store pages for this miner that it can work on 120V electrical. Any owners of this machine have any insight to whether or not this is true? From teardowns it looks like a regular server PSU, don't most of these operate on 120v or 220V?

So I watch this video and you did not show how much power it was using ...anyways a few other UA-camr has this unit for a few weeks now too .. but non of them show it running .. some say it was quite but good to know it’s not .. still like to know if this using is using 250w .. and why does it need 220v for only 250w that’s not good.

Let's see what the price tag is on these after ETH switches over this summer. Also, let's see what other miners are showing on their daily earning snapshots via ETC and RYN. If it seems like ETC is pulling $10/day or more, than it's still worth it considering the price tag is going to go under $7,500 on Jasminers site after the switch.

Yes you can and it will simply be a bit less than ETH.
what you do after ethereum? Do you change from ETH to ETH classic? the profit from eth (12.300) is good. But on classic it is the half (6.300)
He mentioned mining the old ETH but will there be a market for when miners sell or swap to ETH 2.0. My fear is if all ERC-20 coins convert to PoS and all of a sudden those miners are worthless since the electronics can't be changed to mine other algorithms. So I hope this guy sees your question and my concerns too.

The green planet psychos claim to care about clean air & water which is partly true but the reality is they will provide miner like transactions via their companies much like the bank ATM companies that assure banks and customers access to cash via ATM. So the back story with ETH is about building Novus or a Cirrus like company and that is fact. ETC could appreciate in price & produce better returns once etc abandons mining.

Why is it not recommended to use this miner with a 110 to 220V step-up transformer?
Because transformers are designed for a short term solutions, and not long term. However, on such a low draw of 250W / 300W it's not a big deal.

И тут хоба - размер даг файла в августе - 5gb и ещё страшилки с posом и сразу же на рынок выставляют это чудо техники. Привлекательная цена,безшумность, скорость,електричества не жрут - сказка! Очко у производителей сжалось и надо по-быстрому избавится от ненужного барахла которое за полгода,в лучшем случае,можно ставить копать классик. Смешно то что выпускают уже свои "асики" со скоростью 65 Mh/s чтобы быстрее продать свои чипы. Можно брать. Только после августа или posa и по цене в два-три раза дешевле)

Amazing what tech is starting to appear after china got the mining ban .
Ethereum DAG reaches 5GB around August 2022 and All these Jasminer's use 5gb so be careful everyone. I'm not sure if it's upgradable, I believe they use a new form of integrated chip. Based on this info and the number's as well as the price for these miners which is average10K, I don't think you'll get your ROI in 2022.

@@pianistul21 Pos will start by the time DAG files go to 5GB, so most will just switch over to ETC mining
@@shimy80 you will make about half of what ETH makes. if you overclock you should still get about 10k per year or better depending on price of ETH classic
@@shimy80 It won't be worth it, IMO. Think about it🤔 If the manufacture knew about the switch to PoS and DAG, why did they put limited memory in these units. It's because it's either a cash grab now or they plan to sell an upgraded version soon. You're better off putting the 10k in Ethereum when it dips. Or when the market dips buy more than one of these because people will be selling at a discount.
Dumbs, before it will reach 5 gb eth mining would be stopped by final upgrade in June or july22. Be updated that eth mining is dead in next 6-7 months.

I have got one installed today. Running it at 225 mhz. One thing we should not forget. All the hashing power will move to etc and profitability will be much loser then etc noe as everyone is mining eth

you can have 2watt device on 220v
