Absolutely! it even supports Linux as well- and a great product
Can I use Flex Smart SDR to actually physically make contacts and physically talk to people without using a radio but just using my mac.
No. Your Mac isn't a radio.
@@HamRadio2 I know my computer isn't a radio but people use Echolink/Echoham with their computer and dont have a radio but still physically talk to others through the internet connection so I thought that the SDR software allowed hams to have a physical conversation with each other on the bands through an internet connection.

Finally! MacOS is a UNIX. You’d think it would have more support from a nerdy community like Amateur Radio.
Unix does - lots of good Ham Radio apps for Unix/Linux. MacOS has a FreeBDS base, but their users tend to be all over the board. Some are really technical and some can't figure out why they get viruses on a Windows computer after they search wares and pron sites every day. *shrug*
i know it is kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch new tv shows online ?

FLEX doesn't make this software - the guy in Germany does. And he can charge what he wants, tbh.
As a Mac user, I think you'd be used to paying too much for software, though....
I was hoping to see resolution similar to windows but this looks much less pristine. Frankly, disappointing.
So once again with Flex more money to pay out to have your Radio working, not good,
The money for the MacOS App doesn't go to Flex, it goes to the 3rd party developer who wrote it. Same guy who wrote the iOS app.
Anyone can write an app to use the API with a FlexRadio, so if you don't like paying for it, write one yourself and give it away. Also remember that the software FlexRadio wrote themselves, the Windows version, is free.
@@HamRadio2 Actually the window version to get updates after your first year isn't free ! and it still doesn't address the many broken non working problems from the first version-
