Um Australians do get a 90 day visa on arrival. I have been to Morocco numerous times on an Australian passport.

For people following you in the street you can just tell them " La choukrane" and they will leave. It mean no thanks in moroccan darija.
I did do this quite a bit, but hustlers usually get excited that I’ve spoken a bit of Arabic I feel the best is to ignore them or say Imishi
