Next time if you season the butter, and mix it up then rub that all over the turkey, it’s easier and the seasoning is distributed more. Also use stock and continuously baste the turkey to keep it juicy throughout the cooking. And cover with aluminum foil to keep it from browning too quick. This advice was not asked for but just giving it in case you want it 😂😅🤍🤍

I had never seen anyone use melted butter for the turkey prep 😅, y’all forgot to out it in the bag or cover it with aluminum foil to keep it from getting dry. Hay para la otra. Lo bueno es que disfrutaron en familia y eso es la mejor parte.
I think you weren’t supposed to heat up the butter, you were supposed to season it cold so that the butter isn’t getting heated up twice maybe that’s what gave y’all chorro 😂

Omg lol next time take the turkey out ahead of time they usually go by pounds on how many days before you put it in fridge and the white thing you pulled out was to tell you when it was done it would have popped out a red thing and it probably wasn't the seasonings lol and more because the turkey was frozen and the bag you took out was the gizards and turkey neck outside the bag

Next time put the turkey in a cooking turkey bag so it won’t dry up and put lots of butter all over the turkey inside and out
Before you do the butter rub my mom always does it 3 days before first she marinates the turkey in a pineapple orange juice from
There the next day she does that butter (not melted) rub with the seasonings already in it inside and outside the skin and the 3 day is when she cooks it and watching over it but she stuffs it with Mofongo bc we are Puerto Rican 😅

You're supposed to let your turkey defrost since like 2days ago. But for your first time it isn't too bad and well you ain't no chef but you tried 😁 definitely needed to basted it looks dry but for this yr you'll be more prepared 🤞 but at least they liked your seasoning.
