someone reported little ago listing 3 levels with a sure dev exit AND another around 10 suspicious levels that had to be checked, a day where the levels remaining where alredy at 250-300 left
imagine spending so long to beat a level that someone else already beat to upload it. imagine beating a level that is hard when easy levels exist. imagine climbing up a ladder when you could sit on the ground instead.
Ive had this game since release and its always fun seeing people do crazy things with it. Its sad the servers are going down. Thank you for your contribution to 100%
This is pretty common when translating from English to Spanish. Especially in video games or niche hobbies, Spanish speakers often use the English words themselves because Spanish doesn’t have a one-word equivalent. When a video game is forced to entirely be in another language though, they have to come up with the clunky version.
it's not "clunky", though...? I'm portuguese speaker (which has some similarities when translated from english) and intermediate spanish student, but "primero en llegar a meta" looks a pretty natural sentence to me and one that could be used if the original media language was spanish and not a translation. there are indeed many sentences that sound better with english-imported words rather than an approximate spanish/portuguese translation, but this isn't one of them.
@@Pao-vo8mf fair! If that phrase is natural sounding, then it absolutely would make sense for the localization team to use it. The unfortunate part is the way the UI has to display it in the little badge, which works well for compact text like the English “first clear!” (and I assume the Japanese text is also pretty short, since it also tends to be pretty compact). I have been tangentially involved in software translation and have seen how some short expressions in English can blow up in length when translated, but this was surprising to me. I guess this is something of an example of the difference between internationalization and localization-the int’lization part (designing and preparing for translation) could involve recognizing that the badge might not work for the text in every language, so another type of UI element could make sense (like a banner or something). In this case it’s really a minor issue, though. Thanks for the reply! I am glad to learn more.
If i remember correctly, the portuguese version wrote it off as "Primeira Victória" which to me sounds pretty good, in spanish, couldnt they have used "Primera victoria"? i find "win" the word thats closest to the english word "clear"
There sure are a lot of trash levels out there! I liked that they didn't like the level with a dev exit, but they should raise their standards, to make people build better levels for likes. And not auto-like that all streamers are doing, hahahahahahaha. GG tho, impressive.
The last level, Trim The Herb, the creator has come out and admitted to have used TAS tools to upload it, thus it is an illegitimate level. The last level cleared before it was "The Last Dance". People will continue attempting TTH but it's not very likely to be beaten before the servers shut down
I think it's terrible that people like you can actually accomplish beating a hard level without (publicly) complaining about it like a 2 year old while people like DGR and Ryukahr couldn't beat these in a million years yet have millions of subscribers and you only have about 20k. You deserve better and I hope you get them!
The fact that a free dev star level was uncleared for so long will always be funny to me LUL. Also, really nice clears as always Kingboo :)
That was a very obscure secret!
I can’t believe that even with how few levels are left that there are still dev exits in some of them. What a way to sum up Mario Maker
someone reported little ago listing 3 levels with a sure dev exit AND another around 10 suspicious levels that had to be checked, a day where the levels remaining where alredy at 250-300 left
that dev exit was foul 😭
imagine spending so long to beat a level just to find out it has a dev star
yeah it took this long for someone to find it

There's ways to check for a dev star beforehand, they're very easy to find
All you team 0% people are amazing, it's incredible what you are doing.
The dev exit level is the sole reason why the heart/boo options were created in SMM2
Love how you didn't star the level that was just a dev exit
This lol
That 10s speedrun looks stupidly chaotic
new soup speedrun X super expert hot garbage
truly a wondrous creation
5:53 That spring drop with the lag was evil lol
Your presence is intrinsic for this challenge, Thank you so much KingBoo97 ❤❤
That 3rd level must of took so long to figure out the path. Looked crazy
I think Krypta (0% player) found the route and shared it so I decided to play that level, so thanks to him
Must've*

The fact the last 2 levels didn’t get starred tells a lot about these levels.
That last one is insane
watching the 3rd level made me say the most visceral "what the fuck" out loud
The 3rd level was the best clear for me as the second section looked pretty precise. GG!
Another precision show from your side bro... Nice compilation. GG KingBoo...
GG keep up the good work, God bless, if I don’t see you here or there I hope to see you in the air
Coolest precision levels! GG KingBoo!
Very impressive dude! Keep it up!
GG's KingBoo, Vamos a seguirle con el Maker 1 antes de que muera :D
Best in the business!
thanks for your service o7
Wow that was amazing good stuff man keep it up
I love these compilations
4:43 looks so satisfying
Well, looks like someone’s been busy!
I’m not a native Spanish speaker, but “primero en llegar a meta” seems like an extremely clunky translation of “first clear” to me.

You are a savior
Get hit or study for your exams. That one friend
Legend
Have you considered streaming these? I would watch the heck out of your gameplay
I'm not streaming at the moment but I'll be streaming Trials of Death again soon
you probably the best precision player and maybe 2nd to kirbs for speedruns
I'm not worse than kirbs at speedruns lol
@@KingBoo97 but are you harder than u-break
Kirbs is the American knockoff version of KingBoo.
Kidding both are awesome.
Don't get me wrong kirbs is really a good player... but no
didnt kingboo win the most ninji speedruns in smm2 and got like top 5 in all of them. so yeah
Has anyone beat an uncleared level and then gotten a “you have lost connection” message yet?
It ain't a NSMBU speedrun level if it doesn't have a ground pound stall spam section.
❤
pro!
3:30 so rude lmao
Do you think the project to clear the rest of Mario Maker 1's levels before Nintendo wipes them all will be completed in time?
Yes
🎉🎉🎉
0:00. This level in Mario Maker 2 sucks due to the pixel perfect.
insane lol

How's the progress so far?
There's 235 levels left
How many levels are left?
1 now
@@KingBoo97 Good luck with it!

At this point, we don’t have much to lose.

I mean this is a good comment but is it terrible to be like him or not im confused
@@LemmySMM2 am i really the only one who does enjoy raw gameplay? Lol
