Lmao. No. I remember I thought that once, but for every strong card that supports more slow paced games, Konami has about 100 other cards that just make your turn 1 endboards more oppressive and can even turn that grinder card into another way to make your board harder to break.
I want to answer joshua's question of why these cards are related to each other; they're Yugi Muto's (not Yami yugi, but rather small yugi the one who completed the millenium puzzle and awakened atem) cards from the last arc of the manga/anime (millenium world) More specifically these cards reference the final duel of the first series where Yugi faces off against Atem (the pharaoh), they're all cards that Yugi used against Atem and the effects reference stuff that happened in the final duel.
@@chaotixthefox Tbf the Gandora this one retrains wasnt the one that was used for the FTK, that was Gandora-X (from Dark Side of Dimensions), and the ftk with that only worked in the OCG
Maybe this is a dumb question but why doesn't Konami make any of the DM support actually any good? I mean they know they sell whether they're shit or not right? So wouldn't making, for example, the Egyptian Gods, actually good instead of utter garbage, make even more money because you're capitalizing both off the casual base AND the competitive base? It almost seems like a slap in the face to make all these classic archetypes like DM, Blue Eyes, Gaia, Red Eyes, and so on all absolute trash. And I'm not a nostalgia guy either. I couldn't care less about DM. Just a theoretical question
Well how do you make DM good while keeping the spirit of the deck? It’s focus card is a level 7 vanilla. This isn’t Gaia where they can just toss the old card in the trash. They managed to get Blue-Eyes good by giving it a hyper targeted boss monster focused onto a weakened meta game. And even then it wasn’t meta for that long. The only way I can see it is if they just toss all caution to the wind and hire a literal child to design the cards. “Draw three cards and if you do, special summon a Dark Magician from hand or deck.” “If you control Dark Magician: banish all cards your opponent controls. This effect cannot be negated.”
if the nostalgia players want to pick up a competitive deck they have to buy a whole new deck this might actually not be a good thing for konami since it keeps casual players from becoming competitive players, but its a thing that happens regardless
I think the wincon might actually be intended to be Exoida considering the anime and that draw 6 effect, which I think I funny. The rest of the deck is also a stun deck, so the ideal build around it would be pots and upstart which also feels appropriate.
No. Lil Yugi did not use exodia. The win con is banishing everything with Gandora and attacking with the Silent monsters and using their effects to negate things to make sure that happens. The draw is because the end of the Duel was powering up Silent Magician but giving Atem a full hand so he’d summon Sliffer and that would be negated by Sarc
Nope the wincon is gandora It's Yugi boss monster The plan is to Controls the flows of game with silent, and gadget, and then blow out Opponennt field and otk. That is Yugi Playstyle in the manga.
He's not looking at them together as a unit, he's treating them individually and against the comment threats mainly hand traps. Looking at them too competitively kinda ruins what makes them unique.
So basically this is gonna be an Engine that gets you a negate 2 bodies on board, and +6 at the end. Along with dumping spells in the graveyard and deck thinning. Because you gonna pull at least 4 cards from your deck because of it at minimum if it isn't negated. If you play for spell counters this can be retarded. Exodia, magician Pendulum, Selene, Royal Magical Library Fodder. The only thing its missing is a way to get that Gadget card on the field for free as a special.
It's more like an OTK deck. Everyone tends to ignore the fact that gandora levels up the monster it summons, so if there are a lot of cards on the field, you summon the magician or the swordsman and they get very big, so it's an easy OTK on an empty board. And it will be empty most of the time
@@nerazim1110 so exodia turn 1, gandora turn 2 for otks. hmmm i wonder if thats fun to play aganst in modern metea, genuinely it might be ok to play aganst.

The marshmallow is designed to give you more turns, has some negation protection, and you can recur it pretty much forever, which is nice.
Not if they dont do a big banlist or master rule 6. Only that will slow the game.
Have you seen modern support? I wish this was teir 1 or they where slowing down the game but it just cant happen with the cards that exist now days
Lmao. No. I remember I thought that once, but for every strong card that supports more slow paced games, Konami has about 100 other cards that just make your turn 1 endboards more oppressive and can even turn that grinder card into another way to make your board harder to break.
i know this one is gon be ass its dm support but honestly imma play it cause yugi>atem and i stand by that
Friend🤝
Well the ishizu support was decent xd
if the mosters were better, this can actually get wins, cause the spells are just custom cards.
Its tear all over again
I want to answer joshua's question of why these cards are related to each other; they're Yugi Muto's (not Yami yugi, but rather small yugi the one who completed the millenium puzzle and awakened atem) cards from the last arc of the manga/anime (millenium world)
More specifically these cards reference the final duel of the first series where Yugi faces off against Atem (the pharaoh), they're all cards that Yugi used against Atem and the effects reference stuff that happened in the final duel.
‘They have custom spells’
No they just have the unrestricted versions of the manga cards
They should have made these Horus, they already have a sarc
They dont get new effects, they get effects
Silent Magician has always been a Spell negate, Gadgets were competitive in old formats, Gandora FTK...
@@chaotixthefox Tbf the Gandora this one retrains wasnt the one that was used for the FTK, that was Gandora-X (from Dark Side of Dimensions), and the ftk with that only worked in the OCG
A slifer boss monster for legacy support would go so hard
slifer wouldn't make sense because yugi muto didn't use the god cards
@@MrGshinobi he did in the last duel in GX
Edit: nvm, i just checked it was Atem.
Because if they are too good and they ban a card, they'd probably get a ton of backlash from the people who bought it for nostalgia
“Draw three cards and if you do, special summon a Dark Magician from hand or deck.”
“If you control Dark Magician: banish all cards your opponent controls. This effect cannot be negated.”
if the nostalgia players want to pick up a competitive deck they have to buy a whole new deck
this might actually not be a good thing for konami since it keeps casual players from becoming competitive players, but its a thing that happens regardless
Mutos
YUSEI AND ENDYMION SUPPORT WHEN KONAMI PLEASE YOU ARE KILLING ME
Yusei just got stuff in Duelist Nexus though?
Yusei already got Cosmic Quasar and some synchron from Dune
IT IS NEVER ENOUGH!
Its kinda funny this deck loses against silent swordman lv7.
I hope they can do this with Jaden's Elemental Heroes.
No please dont touch my boy Jadens cards
I think the wincon might actually be intended to be Exoida considering the anime and that draw 6 effect, which I think I funny. The rest of the deck is also a stun deck, so the ideal build around it would be pots and upstart which also feels appropriate.
No. Lil Yugi did not use exodia. The win con is banishing everything with Gandora and attacking with the Silent monsters and using their effects to negate things to make sure that happens.
The draw is because the end of the Duel was powering up Silent Magician but giving Atem a full hand so he’d summon Sliffer and that would be negated by Sarc
Nope the wincon is gandora
It's Yugi boss monster
The plan is to Controls the flows of game with silent, and gadget, and then blow out Opponennt field and otk. That is Yugi Playstyle in the manga.
Yu-Gi-Oh boomer be like last goooooo
❤😂🎉 ive been asking for a year and half at ycs for silent support. !!!
He's not looking at them together as a unit, he's treating them individually and against the comment threats mainly hand traps. Looking at them too competitively kinda ruins what makes them unique.
More Yugi nostalgia support. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
This stuff is actually interesting. If they’re going to print nostalgia they could do much worse.
@@Exisist5151 I know. The cards themselves are kinda interesting. I am just sick of seeing Yugi support thats all.
And they’re still garbage.
And it will be empty most of the time
@@nerazim1110 so exodia turn 1, gandora turn 2 for otks. hmmm i wonder if thats fun to play aganst in modern metea, genuinely it might be ok to play aganst.
worth noting, the "draw until yiu have 6" effect only happens if you activate it during the battle phase, which means your opponent gets a chance to play cards and empty their hand before you use it
business wise you shouldnt be posting videos about new cards on your 2nd channel, they make enough views for main one
It doesn’t dilute video quality of the primary channel.
I see you´re not familiar with Josh´s main channel, I can tell you as someone who manages a few youtube channels with more than a few million subcribers that videos like theese would do more than well on his main channel and it would pump more money. @@Exisist5151
The support is ok so far. i don't know if im going to buy any yet, and we'll see
