Isn't it amazing that in your testimony, there was SO much chaos that it's hard to convey a "simple" testimony... there was just SO much confusion and chaos, so much darkness. And then in my family Jesus WAS a thought. Kind of. But mostly booze, porn, bloody abuse and broken houses, moved constantly, so it was even more confusing. I swear there are so many similarities that it makes me wonder what kind of demon is this that hit us both, and who's it hitting now. Your story resonates so deeply for me. I'm not sure what you mean here. If you mean don't rely 100% on a church to interpret the Bible for you, agreed. Suggestion: grown your hair out and start dressing more like "who God created you to be, a Woman!" Walk the walk of who you were created to be. You don't have to exaggerate it with makeup and all the frills, but just start with little steps. You are beautiful inside and out and Jesus is the best and there is NO life without Him. Just come to Him often and talk to Him as a dear friend. He loves you and your son. Show your son what a woman looks like outwardly and inwardly. Start with your hair and embrace your beauty.
I’m a born again Christian WOMAN too. And I shave my head so I don’t think growing her hair out really matters unless she wants to. It’s not the outward appearance that matters. It’s what’s in your heart that truly matters. God looks at the heart.
