My friend's T60 battery seemed dead since it could only run with the power adapter. After trying this the battery was actually 100% charged and I found a website where the technician explained there was a static discharge causing this. Cool beans! Saved my friend from buying a new battery.
This actually worked! Mine was totally dead, but battery and charger were good. Went thru this procedure and voila, I'm back on the air. Who'd a thunk?
