Lack of buoyancy in gravity, and the skills needed are totally different. It takes 15 years to become an astronaut on average through training, its only takes 3 months for a Sat diver
@@EzraMerrwhat Hahaha you need to become a commercial diver first thats atleast 4-6 months then it's recommended to have atleast 10 years air diving experience before going into sat lol don't talk about shite you have no clue about
Very good, my friend. And the soundtrack? Getting out of the bell with Deep Purple was awesome. Very well done, I liked the presentation of the maneuvers with the "spool". Other passages reminded me of the Stena Constructor (where we worked together) and Toisa Sentinel (the fastest boat in Campos Basin and went under any burner). Here in Brazil you have many friends and admirers, not only professionally but personally and I am proud to be your friend. Congratulations on your successful career and may other challenges come... I know you're ready.
You all probably dont give a damn but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any help you can give me
@Atticus Brentley thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hi Tony one question who can maybe sound stupid but how do yoy manage to close the riser clamp once it is in position do you just use hand power to old it closed and put a screw in it ? Im not new in the industry but underwater i dont see a lot of option to close it and old it tight :-)
PowerLifter666, A riggers comealong with C plate was used initially to pull the lower clamp section up to meet the upper section to get the 1st bolt in then pretty much what Berkcam said.
Do places like Thailand have preferences over which international certification you have when you go to apply for work? HSE (U.K) vs DCBC (Canadian) vs ADAS (Australian)?
Depends on the company your working for. Personally i am ADAS, but I think with most asian companies as long as your qualification is IMCA recognised then it is acceptable. For me, some places in Europe and the States require a conversion ticket.
Tony Henson Interesting. Do you enjoy the work in Australia (I assume that's where you're still working?). I've heard the conditions are pretty amazing to work in over there. A lot of places in the U.S have pretty low visibility compared to what I'm seeing in these videos from Thailand.
Darth Krayt Working in Australia is ok, The water is often warm but The Onshore pay is not very good, Only Offshore pay is good as it is controlled by a Union. Very Hard to get into though (i have found) However You hardly ever get the 20+ metre vis that you see in this Thailand video. Pretty hard to beat that kind of visibility i think.
IMCA ,but HSE is always preferred internationally because the employers have a concept that British Standards are deemed the best in the world especially in Arabic countries that were former colonies or commonwealth decree
Diving is just the medium used to get to and from the job. It’s what you do down there that counts. You can be a really great sport diver, but if you can’t work down there your useless.
Work , save around £5,000-12,000 over the course of 3 years, then try to get a full 3 certification training course finished or if you do t have enough start with air supply diver £3,000-4,000, take some contracts , save more money then get your full certified courses done and then finally start making the big money. It's hard effort to get there
@@EzraMerr I live in Texas (USA) and I’m willing to put in the work just needa go to schools and get experienced but here they say before they let you go under water it’s 5 years before they trust you on your own at least that’s what I search up but hopefully down the line maybe there other company’s that I can get in within a few years like 3 or 2 but guess that’s just more digging I have to do but anyways this job been a dream of mine and can’t lie doing something no body can do feels different
I'm watching this video, but obviously missing something..I can see the diving has a cylinder, but, I can also see what looks to be an umbilical? Can anyone clear this up for me, thanks..
I was wondering, I have my DCBC certifications and I wanted to know if you knew of any companies from that area (not Thailand specifically) that hire entry level divers/tenders. If I get hired on out there I will have absolutely no problem tending for a while. If so could you provide the names of the companies please?
29.1 meters around 95 feet It’s on the screen bottom right “A” for altitude -29.1 M Due to clarity with sunlight penetration it is usually a good depth indicator between 50 to 100 feet Deeper gets darker as sunlight diminishes

When I see good videos like this I usually take out my time to appreciate the experts that make these videos possible.
You are right my friend, when I got introduced to him I was surprised because I felt a man of that talent should be well known and appreciated.
I would blame myself if I hear about an opportunity like this and I let it waste, please I am interested how can I do business with him.

Nicely done ! smooth. do you have a drysuit on ? or just overalls ? if so what you got for buoyancy ?
no, no drysuit. water temp is about 25 degrees celsius so only wearing overalls. no wetsuit either. there is no buoyancy device being used here.
Tony Henson
Yea i can believe you no need of a drysuit
In fact in most cases i tty to avoid it and only keep it for rrally cold waters
Cool I'm a part 3. So what buoyancy do you have ? do use magnets or something ? good work anyways.
Norquaymusic No buoyancy, no magnets. cheers

Is it really diificult for entry level divers to get a job?
you'll spend most of the beginning of your career as an assistant
Reuben Emeka yes
as a tender or stand by mostly
no harder than any other jobs, and the states is the only place where youll start as a tender. Most divers in Canada go from school to diving

Fook me he is working hard, must suck that tank down fast
He's on an umbilical, surface supplied air, the tank on his back is known as a "bail out". ( emergency air.)
And yes, I noticed that too, he is working hard. wow.

1046Fay the cylinder is for emergency supply of air incase you lose line pressure in your umbilical
Spencer Franko Appreciated....thank you...
1046Fay sum can have different things with an umbilical
Thanks, but what type of 'things'?
1046Fay back up bottle, he is obviously on a surface supply compressor for air. the umb also has a pneumometer and comms.

Tools too far from the tie in, next time put the downline higher and have the tools right next to you. lol
THE MUSIC IS HORRIBLE FOR SUCH A SERIOUS JOB..REALLY CHILDISH.
