Yes its pretty common place to idols to do that. Usually its the Rookies going to visit the senior groups. Its usually very formal greeting and exchanging signed albums, sometimes the rookies would ask for advice and the seniors would give them well wishes etc. But if the groups are close, its sometimes very casual. There's a clip floating around of BTOB visiting BAP and the member essentially just walked in casually and BAP member was literally just "Hand over the album and leave" (jokingly). But yeah, its fairly common practice in the music show backstage.
