Los que decís que se ríen de nosotros lo que estáis es amargados, os quejáis de que nos llaman borrachos y sois los primeros que pillais un pedo de fiesta o los habéis pillado de jóvenes, no me seais hipócritas y alegraos de que posiblemente haya gente que conozca nuestro pueblo gracias a esta canción y con la cantidad de pueblos que hay que se hayan fijado en nosotros. Además que está claro que no habla de nosotros sino que se refiere al personaje del Tío del Padul. ¡Viva el Padul! Y que ojalá siga siendo reconocido mundialmente.

As "Tìo" traduction is really "Uncle" there ? I think it's more "guy" the good word.

I wondered what *tío* was meaning here in Spanish before the translator above glossed it as "uncle". In Greek we call uncle «θείος» / theios, as in «Γεια σου θείε Παύλο» / Geia sou theíe Pávlo - "Hullo/Your health, uncle Pávlo". And aunt is θεία / theia in Greek. Note the acute accent over the *í / ί* in both the Spanish and Greek words for this. These names must have come into Iberia from us, perhaps from when the Gauls allowed us to settle on the coasts before the Romans in antiquity?🧿🏛💙

I am from Spain. The translation is correct, it means uncle. But here it has another meaning, it just means something like 'guy': The guy of the Padul, that's genius hahah
@@alejandroblazquez-sr9ky From what I can make out of this it is a very amusing and fun song. But is is remarkable how similar Spanish and Greek sound even though they are not directly related. When I visited Athína in the 90's my theía said to me that "we Greeks are most alike to the Italians and the Spanish". Back then Greeks still looked up to Italian culture, but now we are even more proud to be Greek. But I see many references now, particularly in Greek rap to Spanish too, along with a lot of graffiti now in Athína using Spanish words . There is a Greek rapper called Mente Fuerte for example. I will link his video called «Mikrí», which is very well produced by a Greek producer called Angel Saft, in another comment below in case they don't allow links here. You will hear if you see this how similar *we* sound. 💙🧿👍🏽
