@@petecabrina thing with Diaz brothers is that there weren't explosive fighters and used only aerobic capacity. Once their opponents got gassed out Diaz brothers started beating shit out them.
The archer pull up is my all time favourite variation, just make sure you are puling with your back elevating your chest up rather than using the hips to achieve the bendedform. I see that mistake a lot!
oh, nice variation... next spring i hope i will be able to do some pullups. since you mentioned wrist health, i started doing rice bucket workouts - i like it because its very meditative, feels nice (the sensation itself), and is doable while watching youtube =) could you do a video on rice bucket training?
huh, I have accidentally been doing these for ages on my rings whith my feet on the ground. I'm still too fat to do a pullup so train back like this and as I lose weight I can see I have lats for the first time in my life
Just tried this. I can hit 8 wide grip pull ups in a row which is mediocre. But I thought I was strong enough to hit this movement, and I was wrong. I could only get 6 inches away from my sternum touching the bar. What am I doing wrong?
It's a tough movement. Sounds like you need more scapular strength. Try the straight arm arch pull and see how you do. Like you're trying to pull yourself into a front lever but just let the legs dangle instead of holding them up. Another way to build this type of strength is to do rows, but pull the bar to the sternum or lower. It will require a lot of active tension in the shoulder blades to stabilize the position and that strength will help you get this pull up.
My shoulder is jacked up right now and im not sure what i did to it. I worked out light yesterday for the first time in like maybe 1 1/2 months and i really want to try this because i want to heal and get back to working out how i was before. Im not a beginner at working out but want to be smart about this. I rwally do want to start doing bodyweight work now maily and try to add weights from time to time but always been on weights with bw on and off.
The effort, consistency, and conciseness of the videos you make is amazing!!
I appreciate that, thank you for your comment!
You keep coming up with gold. Im gonna try this one.
Cardio guide for combat sports please brotha 🙏🏽
Haven't the Diaz brothers laid down the guide for you? Go start training for triathlons 😄
look at the old champions, all they did was run miles for cardio and they had 10x better cardio than champions today
@@filet-o-fish967 bro you should train both aerobic and anaerobic cardio systems

Man, that's the video I need, I'm doing pull ups and I needed something more interesting, thank you!!!!
This is an excellent instructional video, which concisely explains the benefits and compares it to other styles of pull-ups -
I'll be using this for my weightlifting training
Ok
Ok
Amazing video my bro
A perfect video as it's back day today!
I've been loving the active arch hang or the perfect hang from your other video, so this is a great follow-up video.
Excellent. I recently strained a forearm from routine pull-ups and was warmed up, too.
In my pull up routine, I only do archer pullups, but let's try Gironda pullups
Yes, this is the king of pullups! My second is behind the neck and 3rd is commando.
Love your videos, feels like I am looking at a ancient scroll
You're right that bodyweight rows are hugely underappreciated. Gymnastics Method talks about this on his channel all the time

I don’t know if you’re in the process of making a program already but I’d love to see one including all the exercises you highlight in your videos
Video idea talk about one Arm pushups

Does your shoulder hurt in the back by the shoulder blades, in the front or right on top? Also does it mainly hurt when exercising?
