Poole BMX Track - old school bmx ride out Easter 2013

Me and some local friends on an old school bmx ride out, taking in the 1980s BMX track at Poole, Dorset, UK. The track is now a little overgrown and very sandy in places but still rideable and good fun.

Is this the original track from the 80's which featured "the dollies" ??? If so I was there in 83/84 ish. My mate rode as an amateur that day, the pros Ruffell/Llewellyn/March/Schofield were awesome jumping those pair. Damn I feel old now BUT, I still have an Aero Reflex & GT Performer from 85/86. Unfortunately they're carpet queens, too mint to take out so they sit in my man cave..........😞

Hi Steven.
I just found out the track is located at Haskells Recreation Ground, Ringwood Road, Newtown, Poole. BH12 3LH. It was revamped by the local council last year. I was near there a few weeks ago without realising it, will go there next time I'm in Dorset now I know.
