BRAN helped Ayra & Sansa set up Littlefinger by filling in all the timelines for them. That is why later in King Landing, he said, "why do you think i came all this way." BRAN told Sam to go tell Jon who he was and piss off Dany "right now." The ending made sense, but they rushed over too many details to get there and left a lot of people confused. Bran was the Joe Biden of Westeros.
Eh, I think the writers messed up by rushing over details, leaving characters out that would later be important, and changing plot points like insisting that Dany turned evil ap Jon had to😊 kill her. I don't think Dany was ever supposed to rule but she was supposed to be a savior figure and be essential for ending the long night . I also think they gave her Cersei's ending . She's the character who was blowing up things with wild fire and she had a prophecy that a younger brother would kill her .
I can't wait to see if Rhanerya ever finds out that the lover was Christian Cole. Alicent just says she took a lover after the father's death, never says who. She throws Strong in Rhanerya's face, not Cole. To this day, Rhanerya doesn't know that Alicent knows about them.
I liked the Harrenhall arc as well. It showed Daemon’s character development. In the books we have no idea what he’s doing there so I think it was a great addition

At this point, Jamie learned from Tyrion that Cersei was sleeping around not just with their cousin Lancel but a few other men. It haunts him and hurts him. Cersei writes Jamie and asks for help with the High Sparrow bc he’s out of the city. And what does he do? He ignores the call. I could be wrong but I really feel like the books will end with their relationship being over. It was falling apart before he left King’s Landing anyway. I wish they had stuck to that in the show if they were gonna end it the way they did, Brienne deserved better ☹️

Bought mercy, started reading the books, and became totally immersed in the World of ASOIAF….. eagerly awaited season 5…..felt a little meh after it ended……stayed around through season 6 and became less enthusiastic. I barely watched 7 and only watched critique of 8. Something felt off and we all new it…… You don’t have to follow the books exactly to tell a good story on screen but season 8 of GOT and season 2 of HOTD were not good. I tried to give it a chance . Some episodes were okay but the finale had very stupid parts . I was such a fan, I still know all the names (including side characters) of original GOT. I not that invested into HOTD. It doesn’t draw you in . I did listen to the audiobook so I know what’s is suppose to happen. I don’t think these actors are as good as GOT. It’s a B minus show thus far. I would rewatch GOT season 1-4 before I rewatch any of HOTD and I know I’m not the only one .

The show runners talked about the last two episodes were cut because of the writers and actors strike. They started filming the last two episodes when the strikes started and had to stop. The last two were the battle popping off. Discovery who bought WB/HBO said cut the last two episodes and go with eight this season. There will be only be four seasons total.
A lot of people are hating on Jace or on how's he treating them but it is understanding. Him and his brothers are bastards and they know that but they were bastards with dragons, now even that was taken away by ulf and Hugh who looks more targaryen than him and who now has bigger dragons than him. So what's to stop them from also claiming the throne once Rhaenyra dies? This will lead to there being another war than could have been avoided in the first place. While I do understand that Rhaenyra not having a choice because she needs these dragons and riders to win this war but she needs to keep an eye on both ulf and hammer because all it could take for her and team black to lose is for the wrong person to whisper something in their ears and change sides.

A lot of people are hating on Jace or on how's he treating them but it is understanding. Him and his brothers are bastards and they know that but they were bastards with dragons, now even that was taken away by ulf and Hugh who looks more targaryen than him and who now has bigger dragons than him. So what's to stop them from also claiming the throne once Rhaenyra dies? This will lead to there being another war than could have been avoided in the first place.
While I do understand that Rhaenyra not having a choice because she needs these dragons and riders to win this war but she needs to keep an eye on both ulf and hammer because all it could take for her and team black to lose is for the wrong person to whisper something in their ears and change sides.
I'm not as worried about Hammer, but I totally get Jace, too. But per usual, Baela got him together, just like she did with her grandsire, Corlys.
