- Hey Guys! In today's video we are talking about color coding. I have recently gotten back into color coding in my planner and I have been loving it! I wanted to share the different ways that I have used color coding throughout my planner to maximize my day.

I love color coding. I used it when I did lesson planning as a teacher. Blessings.
Another awesomely helpful video! My planner is colorful but now at a glance I can tell whats going on on a given day, what bills are do, and what else needs my attention! Im doing the same for my budget section (sections YOU taught me about). When my husband passed I had to take over managing money and at 62 its a learning experience. Thanks to your help, I think Im finally getting a handle on this. Thank you.

I keep it the same for that particular week. But I haven't committed to a color... lol. I think its because I've only been doing it for a couple of weeks. I'm sure once I get into the groove I will stick to a color for a particular category.
@@TheOrganizedMoney i said that because I've tried and it helps to identify it easier - using the same colour code throughout all planners, you'll end up memorising the colours, it's less confusing if always using the same colour for each category. And you can make a key card, attached to your cover which you can flip out every time you need to check it....
After our class I started color coding in my budget planner and I love it. It really helps me see where most of my spending is going.
I like how you strike off the days and also how you just put the color on the side of an item vs coloring through the item. I too was starting to feel like all those highlights were looking messy

I have just started color coding. I use a pen and highlighter in about 4 colors. I love being able to see at a glance

Note to self: Need more mildliners! I loovvee this system!!!
I can't use stickers in my planners/calendars because they have paper pages,. So to write smoothly, I use color coding:. Green = payday,. Red = school, gold = club volleyballs,. Pink = pymt due, . . . I can use stickers on the wall calendar
