They really are a great collectors piece!! I'd love to own them but not for the full resell price, but I understand the sneaker market very well and The art of the shoe (a grail) is like a piece of modern art in a Gallery the price and love of the art is up to the consumer
Easily a 10/10 shoe for me. I just sold my TS1 lows AND some Sacai's getting prepared to pay resell for these after my inevitable L, but it ain't nowhere near enough to cover these prices....

Liked these for the collection when I first saw them but over time when I saw more and more early looks, I let it go because I knew the L was goin to be very real. I just got back into the sneaker game a few months ago and I remember why I stepped away. Congrats to all those dubs. Enjoy them for me.

The last time I took an L on SNKRS was for the Dog Walker sb that came out April 20th last year. That one left me salty for days because it was the first time I’d ever struck out on that app and I was dying to add those shoes to my collection. Fast forward a year and I’m taking my second SNKRS L on a YET ANOTHER pair I really really wanted to get for casual wearing and bike riding and it’s another sb. The hype for Nike sb has been building for more than a year now and it’s frustrating that getting these beautiful, unique pieces of wearable art is so impossible at the retail price. The consolation prize this time around is that I learned the bitterness of taking an L last year so this one didn’t leave as bad a taste in my mouth but it still burns a little bit cuz (having never seen these in person) these were a 10/10 to me.
Unions went well under a grand before going back up, these things have been close to 2k since the beginning. SB heads are some of the OG collectors, they were on this and then people saw “hey, I can possibly make 1800 profit” plus dunks are back on the rise, and it just went from there.
Really the minute they showed off that Tub Packaging, The Hype Blew up. if this came out in a normal box it might not of been as hyped but still hype. They waited to show off that Special box
