Absolutely love the lights and furniture! Definitely a triumph Emma!! I’ve also been eyeing up my neighbour’s pampas grass that’s growing in his garden, all week. Trying to work out how to ask him for some without sounding like a mega weirdo! Lol
I really like the new bed-side tables and sconces. I'm with you, tables have to match. Love the new blazers! A soup maker sounds like something I would like. Would be great to see videos of more recipes once you get used to it.
I love the dog/outfit/sofa colour matching ! New lights and furniture give a warmer vibe than the mirrored items they replace - looking forward to seeing what colour paint you finally go for. I too have food issues, and find I can't tolerate any onion, or member of the onion family (eg leeks) which means I have to make my own soup and can never eat it in a restaurant - I just add more pepper and herbs to get some flavour.
Emma, Love the deeper wood in your bedroom. I have colors similar to that in my home. It's so warm and cozy!❣️ Can't wait to see the bed! If you find a good dairy substitute let us know. my husband went off dairy because he can't tolerate either and trying to find something that tastes good and soups and coffees is rough. We're currently testing out some new alrenatives. if I find anything good, I'll let you know. We also went off wheat and gluten and I'm experimenting with other flours and leavening agents to make bread and cookies. Life is not worth living without cookies!🤣 I love that second new Everlane Blazer. I have several of their sweaters, boots and jeans. I also purchased some of their pants for my son. He's a computer geek that's it's a lot and they're extremely comfortable and stretchy but they're nice enough to wear to work. You might want to show them to Simon. I would love to see you two do a men's and women's Everlane video❤️. Good seeing Mr. Simon again!😊
We do have the Oatly Barista for tea and Simon has Alpo dark chocolate for his coffee. We find them nice. And the Soya cream was actually nice, just different to what we are used to. 👍🏼
Hi like your new lamps for your bedroom. Such a good idea as table side lamps look nice but always fall over or just take up space. Loving all the autumn fashion at the min. River island in Chelmsford has some nice bits. Okay have a gt week guys I'm off for a lovely facial now. Takecare 😇

The cream used for the soup is whipping cream, used for sweet recipes. I have the same Emma, I can't eat6 neither gluten nor lactose. In the Netherlands, where I reside, I can buy Arla lactose free anything, be it milk, creme fraiche etc. For sure you should have it in the UK.
The bedroom is looking more cosy already Emma, just those few touches of mango wood really help make it look less 'cold'. Have you decided on a wall colour yet? I mentioned before how F&B Sulking Pink would look fab as a contrast feature wall.x

I literally made leek and potato soup this week, just replace cream with coconut cream! It's delicious, much more flavorfull. (Get a can of coconut cream).
Your new Furniture is beautiful. Good choice. I like those loafers, just hearing the words Italian leather gives me goosebumps. You looked very smart with your Gucci bag and Birthday Boots. Very nice. Simon's soup looked really good. There's only one problem with it, ☹ you didn't bring me any soup. 😁 Scrabble looks like a lot of fun, even though you didn't bring me any soup.😊 Simon looks good, the furry kids look good. Emma Hill not sure about Sainsbury’s but Tesco’s definitely sell it, they do a black carton in the cold aisle with their oat fraiche, also great to use in cooking and Sainsbury’s do sell that....in a beige carton but check your store. I actually prefer them to cow cream now and great in cow stuffs upset your tum like all my girls x
Jamie Oliver does a great potato and leek soup that is dairy free. It is in his ministry of food book. My husband has food intolerances and we always eat dairy wheat and soy free meals. Often it is best just to cook recipes that don’t have any of those things rather than putting in substitutes. Thanks for your videos Emma. Enjoy your content.
Wow, liking the trend of more Simon appearances in your recent videos. Maybe another attempt of your other special guest (aka your Mum) will happen, as we didn't see her from your visit in Cornwall a few months ago. You guys are a delight to watch, funny banter, quite amusing. How do you like the new grass decor? Is it a keeper or does it shed too much? Love the hardware on the side tables. Hopefully you can find ecofriendly bulbs for your bed side lights. Cheers Simon and Emma.
Hey Emma! Just wondering if it’s possible for you to do a video about how you select your jeans for an outfit? You are the denim queen so would love to know more about your thought process 🧡
I’ve never bought Everlane before and I don’t have the luxury of trying it on in the store because I live in Canada. I’m trying to think of two pieces I should get and I was thinking of the oversized alpaca sweater and the cashmere crew. I typically wear a size medium but I’m a little worried that the oversize in medium might swamp me as I have broader shoulders. What do you suggest would be the best items to get as a starter in the Everlane line?
I go for the M in the cashmere crew (if that helps) and would say it is a great first item to try. And maybe a pair of jeans (style depending on your preference). They have a lot of sizing information on their website which should help with sizing. 👍
I must have missed a video... so which paint colour did you decide on?... wondering as I looked at all the vertical stripes above the new bedside table.
There is a quite good UA-cam video on alternative dairy-free i.e. vegan heavy cream, sour cream and cheese making which is simple and effective....for hot soups, I would recommend adding the cream after the soup is cooked
I love the wood furniture, but the side tables look tiny in comparison to the bed. But we’ll have to see the new bed and how everything is arranged. The light fixtures look cool. I just made sweet potato soup and used a vegan protein broth. I’m trying to cut down on dairy. I love board games. Who won Scrabble?

Try this for the best homemade vegan cream - take cashews (non-roasted, non-salted) soak overnight. Then blend with about half the amount of water (8 oz cashews / 4 oz water - add more water for a thinner consistency) and blend to a cream. It makes a thick white fluffy cream and you can flavor it anyway you like - sweet or savory.
Melissa Laven haha I know, the pronunciation is a bit tricky to non-british. I'm not british either but just happened to study there for a couple of years.
Yes...it's called they get free merch and paid....Everlane gets really cheap advertising. Sadly, most UA-camrs have bought into Everlane 'false advertising ( green washing) bandwagon. If they truly cared about a sustainable life or true ethics they would do their own research. Not hard to find and the would know that Everlane is not really very ethical or sustainable because the majority of their cotton items are conventionally grown and conventional cotton is very unsustainable and is extremely damaging to the environment and animals if you are vegan. It is also not ethical because of the dangerous farming practices it forces farmers to endure. Watch the documentary The True Cost.
Did you know that Everlane fired employees lately because they were signing up to be unionized and get better work conditions? Same procedure and business attitude as Walmart. How transparent and fair is that?
