Beautiful. Wonderful idea…..and so much less $$$$. So many ideas can be created from this project. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber……happy to follow your channel🤗🤗🤗
I have made these using lot of different dollar tree items. I like your idea the best. I would have painted the frame to match the mesh wrapping. I like your technique. It is very crafter friendly.
TYFS - I’m in agreement with 🤓 one of the other commenter’s, it would’ve been nice to see a pic with these lit up at night. These look really nice & I like how you created corner supports! I haven’t seen anyone else make any type of corner support & I’ve watched quite a few videos on making these. I’m off to watch some more of your holiday DIY videos 🤓! Thanks again 👍🏻👍🏻
I wish I took a picture at night for this video. I’ll have to add it to another video coming up. The corner brackets are my idea. I wanted them to be sturdy to be placed outdoors. Thanks so much for watching!
Great instructions. Only thing I might have done extra would be to spray the sticks white first so that they blend with the wrapping (or whatever color you are going to wrap with)
This just popped up as a recommended video in my feed. WOW this is really creative. I love this idea and im gonna try it out with my daughter. Thanks for sharing!
Love This!! Great demonstration of making these. Using the wooden dowels is a great idea. I will paint my dowels white using white mesh and silver when wrapping with silver mesh.
I think you did an amazing job with those presents. I really like them. You had a great idea. You can add lights too. Thanks for sharing. Have a great holiday.🎄🎄 Imperial Valley California USA.
Beautiful!! I made some but I wanted to put them outside, I got waterproof carpenters glue and put a coat of it over the wood and cardboard parts to keep water and humidity from ruining them, it worked wonderfully. Love your ideas and I get inspired, thank you!!!😁
We are so happy you made it and that you came up with a solution to the weather issue. We created this video : ua-cam.com/video/wgCLAvTNBkI/v-deo.htmlsi=iu7VADxwd3ZWZx_P for all Weather. Thanks for making the craft and sharing your experience 💕
WOW! You are a genius. I've wanted to add gift packages to my yard decorations for years but they were just too expensive. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Be SAFE out there, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, and have a BLESSED 2022!
Thanks, they cost $5.00 a present to make. Very affordable by comparison for sure. Making it yourself is the only way to go for us. We would never pay so much for a decoration. Thanks for taking the time to write🎁❤️
I make these for under my tree but it's the first time see how you can strengthen the corner's with the brackets so i will be trying this and i love how you did the bow so much easier than the way i do it. great video
Great job, I so wish I would have used corner brackets as you, would have been so much easier. I made 9 of them last year, small, med & large using 3"/6"/12" dowels, painted the dowels to match, I doubled up on material used (deco mesh and ribbon) some had white lights & some coloured lights. They are so cool looking at nite. thx for sharing
Fabulous……Houston here an loving this. New scriber also. Very crafty sir. The dowels also come in a square for easier handling. I can’t wait to try these. Adorable. I love a bargain. God bless!!
Wow, genius . I’ve been Christmas crafting for the past month and thought I was done. But these are so cool. Might not hold up though if it rains here in NZ. Might have to have a think about how to waterproof those support corners. Seeing a guy do crafts like this is pretty cool too.
Beautiful I love these hun I haven’t been able to get into Christmas since I moved from Oklahoma to California yes it’s pretty hear but having it snow before or during Christmas was something I grew up on.. and now it’s 70 I just can’t get into Christmas. It’s been hard on me I was molested by my farther put in foster care and moved here to get away from him. If I stayed in Oklahoma I don’t no what I would of done if I seen him.. you made these sooooo beautiful it’s also really nice to see a man doing this stuff. I’m making some for my daughter.
I think they turned out really good and the price is like 100% better! Can't believe what they price this stuff, $130 freaking dollars the three little lighted presents. That is just so insane to me and the crazy thing is that some people actually pay that. I get it, some people just have the money and don't want to make things and some people just aren't crafty but I will be damned if I pay $130 for three lighted up presents LOL you did a great job
Thanks, I hear you. It is a big motivator to make one’s own decorations. We love to save money and we are lovin the results of making things ourselves . It’s just so much fun. Thanks for your comments and support.🌟🎄💕
I've just found your channel. I love this I've been looking in stores at these, they look so pretty but wow they can run expensive as you really do need more than one . This is a fantastic idea thank you so much for sharing. Sending love from Nottingham uk xx oh and obviously I subbed can't wait to see what else you've done .
You can add multiple hooks inside to make the lights hang more than just the center. Also, you can use wider ribbon to avoid that seam down the center. or simply use tulle which is wider. It's worth noting that the ribbon used for the bow needs to be wired ribbon, or else it won't hold its shape.
@@pinknosechronicles And if the wired ribbon needs extra support cut strips of clear plastic the same width as the ribbon and from to fit inside the loops. I learned this from seeing this inside bows of wreaths that weee in Michaels that were shipped over from China.
I like the ones you made better. They stand out better than the clear ones.
Thank you so much!💕
Is refreshing to see a man get involved in making Christmas decorations
I enjoy it. Thanks!
Wow! This is the best representation of the lighted packages I have seen. Great job!!!!
